Terms & Conditions Drivers • Drivers must be over 25 and under 75 years of age, (there is an insurance loading for drivers over 70) and have held a full driving licence valid for the relevant vehicle for at least two years prior to the commencement of hire. You must hold a clean driving license; extra costs for insurance due to any endorsements will be the hirer’s responsibility to pay. • Driving Licences. Proof of insurance and one form of identity (passport, utility bill) must be produced at the time of vehicle collection. In the case of UK photo card licences both the card and the counterpart paper licence must be produced. • The price covers one named driver; additional drivers may be added at an additional charge of £10.00 per driver per day (subject to any endorsements). Insurance • Fully comprehensive insurance for the use in the UK is not included within the hire charge. The cost of which is approximately £20/day. • The insurance is only valid for the period of the hire, thus any late return would automatically constitute a traffic offence under the Road Traffic Act. Invalid insurance means the driver and main hirer become personally liable for any accident damage to the motorhome, third party property and third party personal injuries. A charge of £20 per hour will be charged for late returns unless agreed with the owner. • A £1000.00 insurance access/damage deposit/Bond is payable 7 days before commencement of hire, providing the vehicle is returned in good condition, whole and undamaged, with a clean interior, oven, Hob, microwave, refrigerator & empty chemical toilet tank and no other excesses to be charged, the deposit will be refunded within 7 days. Should the condition of the vehicle be otherwise; then repairs, replacements or cleaning costs will be charged against the deposit. If the hirer is found to have damaged the vehicle by negligence (i.e. no other person or vehicle is involved) the hirer will be responsible for full rectification costs which will be charged against the deposit. Front and rear bumpers, overcab mouldings, roof lights, windows, wing mirrors and external doors are typical components prone to damage by negligence. Failure to return the vehicle in a clean (particularly the, oven, hob & chemical toilet) condition will incur a £50.00 valeting charge & a charge of £50.00 will be made for unemptied chemical toilet tanks. Cancellation • Up to 2 weeks before hire commences 50% of total hire cost, less than 2 weeks 100% 0f hire cost plus return of any insurance payment made. Hirers are advised to obtain their own holiday insurance to safeguard against such eventualities. We reserve the right to cancel the booking before commencement of hire if the named driver’s licences are invalid, proof of insurance is not provided, no form of identity is provided or do not comply with the requirements in the terms and conditions. In this case you will forfeit the booking deposit and hire charges already paid. Collection and returns • Vehicles are available for collection between 1500hrs and 1700hrs and must be returned between 1000hrs and 1230hrs unless otherwise arranged. We are flexible with this time provided it has not been booked out before or after your trip. Failure to comply with these will result in the hirer being surcharged at the rate of £20.00 per hour or part thereof for the first 3 hours and thereafter the balance of the security deposit together with any additional costs incurred. No refunds will be given for an early return of the vehicle. • The hirer acknowledges delivery of the vehicle clean and the contents free from any defect or damage and complete other than as specified by the on the inventory/damage declaration form. The hirer is advised to check the vehicle thoroughly before leaving. • Upon return the we will check the vehicle for damage, cleanliness (particularly the cooker, oven & chemical toilet), etc; including the condition of the tyres and windscreen which are not included in the insurance cover, any such damage is the hirer's responsibility. Failure to return the vehicle in a clean (particularly the cooker, oven & chemical toilet) condition will incur a £50.00 valeting charge & a charge of £50.00 will be made for unemptied chemical toilet tanks. Liabilities • We accept no liability for replacement vehicle costs, travel or accommodation costs or any other consequential loss claims arising from motorhome breakdown; fair wear and tear excepted accident or any other such related causes. • The hirer shall be liable for all costs and expenses incurred for speeding, parking fines, congestion charges and for any other offences committed against the Road Traffic Act or traffic regulations. • The hirer shall be responsible for all overhead damage resulting from any incident; overhead damage is defined from ground to in excess of 6 feet from the ground. Damage to windscreen, tyres and punctures are the responsibility of the hirer. You are required to check the condition of tyres and engine fluid levels on a daily basis. • The hirer is required to keep the motorhome under their control throughout the hire period. It must be locked at all times when unattended. Breakdown • In the unlikely event of a breakdown you should contact the breakdown services, details will be given at the time of collection. The hirer is authorised to spend up to £100.00 on repairs, this will be repaid on submission of a valid receipt. For repairs costing more than £100.00 prior approval must be obtained. Fuel & Gas • The level of the fuel gauge will be noted upon collection and the hirer is responsible for returning the vehicle with the fuel gauge at approximately the same point. • Two gas cylinders are supplied with at least one full. Pets • Clean and well behaved pets are permitted by prior arrangement. Any damage incurred will be charged to the hirer in full. No pet should be left unattended in the motorhome. They are not allowed on the upholstery. Smoking • You are not permitted to smoke in our vehicle, this also includes the use of e-cigarettes. I/WE Accept the terms and condition of hire.
