Terms and Conditions Drivers Drivers must be aged between 23 and 70, and have held a full license for a minimum of 2 years and be in good health. All current and previous motoring offences, including drink/driving offences must be disclosed to us at the time of booking. Any endorsements (points) showing on a license will be considered on an individual basis, normally 3-6 points for speeding or traffic signal violations will not create a problem, but please check with us for confirmation of any additional insurance loading. If there is to be an additional insurance loading we will notify you of this prior to the hire commencement, and any such insurance loading must be paid before the hire commencement. An insurance proposal form must be completed for each and every driver. No-one other than the driver(s) name in the insurance proposal form may drive the hire vehicle. On collection of the Motorhome the hirer/and any 2nd driver will need to be present and have their driving license, (both parts) if new style photo card, and also 2 additional forms of identification, one a photo id e.g., passport and one a recent (within last 3 months) home id showing name and current address e.g. bank statement, phone bill, utility bill etc., credit/debit card for incidental items/costs. We will require your consent to conduct any checks we deem necessary to confirm your identity and proof of your address. We will request this information from you on confirmation of booking, so that we can complete the paperwork before you arrive. You must also bring all originals with you when you come to collect the Motorhome. For visitors from abroad, licenses need to be in English or an International driving permit needs to be presented with your national license. Foreign license holders will incur an additional insurance surcharge. The final decision on suitability to drive rests with us and we reserve the right to refuse permission for Drivers to drive the motorhome. No one other than the drivers named in the insurance proposal form may drive the hire vehicle. hunkydorymotorhomes.co.uk 07711 098179 [email protected] Insurance Our Motorhome has comprehensive insurance on the UK mainland for the named drivers listed on the hire agreement for the period of the rental. Please note this does not cover your personal property and you are advised to arrange holiday insurance. The Hire rate quoted includes a standard insurance excess of £750. In the event of any damage to either the Motorhome or third party property, the customer will be liable for the first £750. Damage caused to tyres/wheels, wing mirrors, glass, underside of the vehicle or the filling up with the wrong type of fuel will be the hirers’ responsibility and is not covered by our insurance. Drivers must be aware of the additional height of the Motorhome and are responsible for all damage caused if driven under an obstruction that is too low for it to clear i.e. low bridges, height restrictions into car parks etc. In this event hirer’s will be responsible for the cost of repairs to all damages. You must inform Hunky Dory Motorhomes immediately of any Issues, Accidents, Incidents or Faults with or relating to the Vehicle or Hire. An Incident Report form must be completed at the end of the hire period. In the case of willful damage or damage due to negligence or in the case of damage to the interior, the full cost of rectification will be charged. Hunky Dory Motorhomes reserves the right to withhold all or part of the deposit to pay for any repairs, until such a time that the repairs may be completed. When the vehicle is unattended, all doors and windows must be locked, deadlocked and alarmed. Keys must be removed from the ignition when the vehicle is stationery. The customer is responsible for all loss or damage arising from theft whilst the ignition keys of the Motorhome have been left in or on the Motorhome. Booking Bookings can be made by phone or on-line, our booking form must be completed and a deposit of £250 paid within 72 hours or your reservation will be cancelled. Confirmation of your booking will then be emailed to you within 72 hours. The Booking Deposit is non-refundable, under any circumstances, and will be deducted from the hire charge. The balance of the hire charge will need to be paid 6 weeks before the start of your hire. In the event of the balance not being paid when due, we reserve the right to treat this as a cancellation of the hire by the customer, in which case our usual cancellation policy will apply.
