Reservations You must first fill out the hire booking form at the premises on paper form or via our online form, and when this is completed your chosen date will be reserved if it is free. Anyone submitting a form, calling in or telephoning any point after this will not have the chance of your dates which are held until we call back for a booking deposit payment and up to 24hrs after we reply to your hire booking form. On filling this form out with your chosen vehicle and dates we will require a £150 deposit and the balance is payable within 30 days of your trip. We will send a fair reminder at least two weeks before this. Failure to pay the balance of your hire period will result in a total loss of deposit unless we can hire that particular motor home to another customer and then £50 will be returned from the £150 charge for multiple administration costs and 'last minute' cancellation advertising fees. Cancellations If customers cancel after the deposit payment it will be completely lost unless special individual circumstances occur, in which case a minimum of a £50 administration charge will be made, details of which will be discussed upon this unfortunate scenario. Cancellations after the balance has been paid (and only within 30 days of hire date) it will be lost in full unless we can re-hire for those dates and a refund of all payments made will be refunded less £100 for administration costs and 'last minute' cancellation advertising. Insurance Fully comprehensive insurance is included within the price for UK use and for drivers provided the following criteria is met: a) The driver(s) to be named are between 23 and 75, b) has held a UK or EU license for a minimum of two years, c) has not had their license suspended for any period within the last three years, d) has not being involved in more than one fault incident within the last three years, e) has no more than two convictions with a maximum of 3 points per conviction, f) has not obtained a BA, DD or UD conviction. Only person(s) that have signed a completed rental agreement shall be eligible to drive the hire vehicle. Your personal contents and valued possessions are not covered in any way shape or form so we encourage hirers to have taken out regular travel insurance with yearly policies working out best which can be used for any travel purpose. For international travel insurance please take contact for related information. All hire bookings are for one person that has been pre-vetted from the booking form details for insurance, a second must fill the forms out in the same way and on payment of the deposit and a £20 extra charge will be levied. Bond Deposit & Extra Charges A £600.00 bond deposit is payable before or on collection of hire to cover damages and/or a bad state of return. Please don't externally clean the vehicle and aside from usual road grime accumulated within the hire, the vehicle should be respectively returned in the condition it left in (we do a walk around check on hire and return) both internally and externally. If everything is fine we will then happily return that bond in full, which in turn makes you happy and will want to return! We are NOT the sort of company that claims you have made damages or mess you haven't just to make a little extra on the hire! If the hirer is found to have damaged the vehicle caused by fault or negligence, the hirer will be responsible for full replacement or repairs where possible and applicable, and this will be charged against the bond deposit. Any accident damage involving a third party see the 'liabilities' section within T&C's. Providing the vehicle is returned with no evidence of off-road driving, external damage, a muddy/stain free interior, a clean oven/hob & empty toilet cassette, no fee will be taken from your bond put quite simply, the deposit will then be refunded within 24 hours by bank transfer only. You may pay for gas used out of this deposit or pay separately on return. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE OUR VEHICLES THROUGH AN AUTOMATED VEHICLE WASH. Assuming a return uncleaned and dirty we will charge a £25 valeting fee for oven and hob cleaning, a £20 tank emptying fee, a £25 separate charge for a full detailed interior valet for removing pet hair if present. If the vehicle is returned with dirt present that is consumate from being off-road / down uneven roads and assuming their is no body or mechanical damage we will make between a £50-£80 charge for this and no further bookings will be allowed. It's hardly worth listing but in the interest of total disclosure, in the extremely rare event of paint splashes, excessive tar from roadworks for example or any other stubborn adhesion to remove we will contract out the cleaning for removal of and polish of effected areas and the bill will then be passed on directly to our client with an extra £50 charge made to cover fuel, time taken to deliver, wait with and return. This charge can then hopefully be recouped by yourselves if a third party was found to be at fault with the aid only of the invoice you received. Any other external damage will come under the accident / damage rectification costs. Collections We offer collection any day on mid and low season dates but high season is strictly on 2 days of the week only which are Monday and Friday. The take over time to have the vehicle in your possession like a hotel room is from 14:00 until 17:00 as we close at 17:30 so please bear this in mind either way as arriving before this time will mean waiting, anything later arrangements can be made if discussed at least a day before. If you can fix a collection time within this 3 hour window this would benefit both sides so please inform as we can have a member of staff aware and the vehicle ready to speed up your departure. Please bring with you 2 utility bills dated within the last month, council tax and mortgage bills are also accepted, your driving license along with knowledge of your national insurance number. A previous log-on to this DVLA system found here https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence will only speed up this check as a 'check code' given free from this site can be given to us. We can only do this on the day of hire for reasons such as penalties / endorsements received post booking which would could render the booking a no go and the booking charges lost depending on the severity of course, please see the relevant information for this under 'insurance requirements'. A handover demonstration will be offered within 14:00 - 17:00 on collection and a general run down laminate will be provided for your convenience as you will not remember everything we have pointed out! A copy of our T&C's shown here will also be in the vehicle along with breakdown and other applicable contact numbers etc. Liabilities All of our vehicles are in full working order, regularly serviced so of course more than fit for purpose, consequently any accidents regardless of blame the vehicle will surpass any inspection that endeavors to prove otherwise. All hirers will be solely responsible for any endorsements or fines, often relating but not conclusive to speeding, parking and bus lane fines, congestion charges and non-payment of bridge or tunnel fines. Such issues are reported to ourselves being the registered keeper of the vehicle in which case we are legally able to disclose the hirers details to the Police be it during or after hire. Drunk or drug driving will result in a partial to full loss of the bond deposit depending on our costs in collecting the the vehicle. Any remaining time left for the hire will also be forfeited. All damage to the vehicle we will hold the hirer responsible unless if applicable a third party was involved and until such time their insurance pays out in full, any damage, or accidents must be reported immediately, no matter how minor. This will enable us to order the parts in or have it pre-booked if applicable for repair, this will slow down or help prevent financial loss occurring for us in a delay of service to the next hirer. While the vehicle is with the hirer they have full control over it's mechanical, systems health, safety and security so daily tyre checks while using on the road should be a minimum (other checks recomended are provided in the hand over literature). The vehicle must be locked when not attended. We do not accept responsibility for tyre punctures or blow-outs. Fuel & Gas All of our vehicles are diesel (stated on the hand over card and via a label on the vehicle), the tank will be full on collection so we of course ask for the same on return because fuel as normal procedure is not included with hire vehicles. Due to the nature of camping, gas can be often be heavily used when off-grid for heating, hot water and cooking, so one rule for all is we weigh the bottle on your collection while you are present, record and do the same on return. The difference will be charged at £4 per kilo and to the nearest pound which is generally a non profit charge to cover refill costs. Animals/Smoking Certain animals will be allowed in certain circumstances and by prior arrangement, any damages incurred from this will be chargeable and for animals with fur which is present at drop-off and troublesome plus time consuming to remove a minimum of a £25 charge will be made for removing this as set out in our bond deposit and charges section. Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the vehicle and illegal under recent legislation, this as well as vaping must be partaken outside away from open windows and doors, any evidence of smoking inside the vehicle a £50 charge will be made and a refusal of future bookings made. Accidents/Breakdown Must be reported to us at the same time as calling the breakdown service, details of which are in the vehicle and please call 07527 067280 (24hrs a day) at the same time. If for what ever reason we don't answer the first time please leave a voicemail and the relevant emergency / breakdown services must be called. Coverage We can discuss with customers that are wishing to travel internationally further information and safeguards for yourselves and us. Toilets, Water & Cleaning Toilets will be ready to use with the flush tank full of water with the correct chemical mix and the cassette having 2 litres of water with chemical mix, there will be both types of chemical bottles for this purpose in the vehicle for this use. We just ask on return the toilet cassette is emptied or a £20 fine charged as set out within our bond deposit and charges section. The fresh water tank will be full of fresh water ready for use. We ask internally is in the same condition provided at time of hire when returning, especially the hob and oven being as it's extremely time consuming for us and therefore chargeable, externally we understand normal road grime will be present, road tar and mud will be chargeable as a more involved clean and polish. Returns We ask you to return the vehicle by a generous and latest time of 11:30 for inspection with yourselves and a minimum time frame for preparing for the next customer that will be highly likely the same day in busy periods and a mere 2.5 hours later. Failure to meet this time will result in a £40 per hour charge for the first four hours and thereafter a fee of £200 per next and any other day to compensate us and any effected customer that hired the vehicle proceeding your return time and date. No refunds will be given for any early returns, circumstances forcing this to happen must be recouped instead from any travel insurance you have taken out. Please see the bond deposit and charges section for the vehicle return state required.
