BOOKING CONDITIONS FOR LODGE HIRE A booking forms a contract between you (the person making the booking) and Caledonian Highview Limited t/a Torvean Caravan Park hereafter referred to as “Torvean” , “we” and “us”. Cancellation: The deposit is non-refundable. A booking forms a contract between you (the person making the booking) and “Torvean”. “We” agree to hold the accommodation for the agreed days for the number of people in your group in your original booking, and you (the person making the booking) agree to pay for the accommodation as requested. We would therefore, recommend that you take out Holiday Insurance in case of cancellation. Conditions of Hire 1.DEPOSIT: 50% of total hire when the booking is made. The balancing payment is to be made 4 weeks prior to arrival. Payment in full will be made where booking is made within 4 weeks of the arrival date. PLEASE NOTE: DEPOSIT IS PER WEEK BOOKED AND IS NON REFUNDABLE 2. If payment is not received by the appointed date we are entitled to assume you do not require the Lodge which may then be re-let without further notice. If we are unable to re-let, the hirer is liable for the balance of the hire fee. 3. Phone bookings will remain firm provided we receive your initial payment and subsequent balance. No reservation will exist until an acknowledgement and acceptance has been received by the hirer. 4. All bookings commence at 4.00pm (subject to unavoidable delays) on date of arrival and terminate at 10.00am on date of departure. 5. “We” reserve the right to re-let a Lodge if the prospective tenant and his party have not taken up residence by 10am the morning after the start date of the holiday unless notified to the contrary. It will be deemed that the booking is cancelled and all monies forfeited. 6. The Lodge must be left in a clean and tidy condition and the hirer will make good or pay for any furniture, fixtures and equipment which may be broken, lost or damaged during occupation of the Lodge. 7. Young parties of all males/females or combination of both are subject to management discretion at time of booking. No stag/hen parties will be permitted. 8. Due to clerical work involved any alteration or amendment requested by the client after the initial may be subject to an alteration fee of £25.00. This fee should be paid with the revised booking. 9. “We” reserve the right to refuse any booking application. 10. For the comfort of guests “We” reserve the right to terminate the party’s holiday without compensation where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons in the holiday party might impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of guests or members of our staff. 11. “We” shall not be liable in the event that accommodation or advertised facilities or amenities are not available due to circumstances beyond our control. 12. It may be necessary at the beginning or end of the season to amend or withdraw certain facilities according to demand. Accordingly “We” reserve the right to alter or withdraw amenities or facilities either advertised or previously available without prior notice. 13. “We” reserves the right to reduce the price of holiday homes at any time to make special offers available. 14. Car parking space for your reserved Lodge must have a disclosed registration number together with any additional car registration numbers staying in the same numbered Lodge. 15. STRICTLY NO SMOKING, DOGS or PETS allowed in the Lodges. 16. We should like to draw you attention to the 5mph speed limit within the site. 17. No Tents, Pop-ups or Campervans are allowed as extra accommodation alongside your Lodge. You must book in with the Touring Field. 18. NO skateboarding allowed on the park. 19. NO Supermarket home deliveries allowed on the site. 20. Parents are responsible for their children at all times and must not be left unaccompanied 21. Changeover days are strictly Friday or Saturday in peak season. 22.All booking must be accompanied by a responsible adult over 18 years of age. 23. Please respect fellow guests in caravans at all times especially at NIGHT. 24. “We” cannot accept any responsibility for personal injury to customers or inconvenience, loss or damage to personal property -however caused. 25. “We” reserve the right to evict anyone with no monies refunded, for not complying with site rules. 26. On arrival should a guest have any problem with their accommodation please report to the office either in person or via email or by telephone. 27. Please note NONE of the LODGES have wheelchair access. 28. No more than 6 persons are permitted to occupy the LODGES and no more than 4 adults.
