Driver restrictions All drivers must be between the ages of 25 to 72 and have held a UK or EU licence for at least 2 years. Some overseas licences are acceptable subject to our insurers T&Cs and will have an increased excess depending on criteria please email for clarification. DVLA declaration All drivers, including additional drivers, must obtain a DVLA share code and advise us of any points endorsements or bans going back 11 years. These may be important even if they have expired. In addition, the hirer must also be the payee. Payment Schedule £250 due at time of booking. Remaining balance due 30 days before arrival. Cancellation Policy 75% of paid prepayments refundable when cancelled 30 days before arrival or earlier. 50% of paid prepayments refundable when cancelled 14 days before arrival or earlier. 0% refundable if cancelled after. Damage deposit A pre-authorization of £1000 is due one day before arrival and released 3 days after departure. Interior damage Any interior damage will be assessed when returning the camper and charged accordingly as this falls outside the insurance T&Cs. Pets We are a dog-friendly rental company providing they are house trained. We must insist that dogs are kept off the furniture and any hairs be cleared away or a cleaning charge of £75 will apply. No Smoking All our vehicles are strictly NO SMOKING. Not only is it illegal to smoke in a hire vehicle, it’s also not very nice for our next customers to have to smell second-hand smoke. Limitations to hire Due to strict insurance rules, we are unable to insure sports or TV personalities. ID and Licence Requirements As part of our insurance qualification, we need to see two forms of ID two weeks before the hire commences – these can be either one primary and one secondary or two primary. An annual council tax bill will be accepted. All other documents must be dated within eight weeks of the hire date. The ID and licence address MUST also match. A copy of the front and back of the licence must be emailed to the office and the ID must be shown on the day you collect the vehicle. Check-out and Fuel policy Upon collection, one of our representatives will do a walk round with you, highlighting any damage and will take either a video or photos. The hirer must also be the payee. Parking fines Any parking, speeding, congestion charges are the responsibility of the renter, therefore you will be charged accordingly along with any admin fees associated with the fine.
