1) Booking: To secure your booking 50% of the payment is required. The remaining balance will be taken along with the required security deposit on the day of collection. All prices are charged by a per day basis and paid in£ (GBP). Payments cards must be in the hirer name. Before a booking is confirmed we are required to run checks on your licence through the DVLA website.   1a) Security deposit: A refundable security deposit is required on day of collection paid by credit or debit card. There is two options for this If you choose to use our insurance a deposit of £750 will be required or An alternative option is that you can arrange your own excess insurance and email us a copy of your policy this will reduce the deposit required to £400 with an additional £20 per day charge. We can give assistance with arranging excess insurance for you with an administration fee of £10. Deposits are refunded after the hire period ends, a full inspection is carried out, and any applicable deductions are made. 2) Collection: Campervan collection time is 15:00 , please allow 1 hour to complete documentation and a demonstration of the campervan. prior to collection a full inspection will be carried out on each system to make sure they are working correctly. All driver(s) must be present on collection with licence and proof of address.   3)Return of vehicle: The return time is 11:00am on chosen return date please allow one hour to complete inspections and documentation, If you are running late you must to notify us immediately and a one-hour grace period can be permitted any returns beyond this will result is a late fee of £30 per hour.  4) Cleaning standards: Cleaning kits are provided within the van for your use. vehicles must returned in a clean and tidy condition. If the required cleaning standards are not met a cleaning charge of £30 will be applied.  5) Fuel: we will supply the vehicle with full tank of diesel. We request that you return it with the same fuel levels or a refuelling charge will be made if it is necessary to bring the level of fuel up to where it was when you took the vehicle. 5a) Gas bottle:  On collection you will be offered to purchase a new gas bottle for an addition cost of £50.  if you choose not to make this purchase you will receive what has been left from the pervious traveller.  6) Cancellations by us: We always make every effort to ensure your vehicle is ready for the agreed collection time and date, however during busy periods there may be delays that is out of our hands. If this happens there will be no refunds issued and trip time will not be extended we would expect the vehicle to return on the date and time as recorded and in accordance as in the rental agreement. We reserve the right to cancel a reservation before or at proposed commencement of hire as follows: - If address on driver’s licence dose not match billing address - If driver does not provide a valid licence as proof of ID - If hirer is in breach of any term of the rental agreement - If the hirer fails to provide funds for security deposit payment at the time of collection - The hirer obtained the vehicle through fraud or misrepresentation - Due to operational issues affecting rental – If any statement, representation or warranty made by the hirer in respect to himself or additional drivers is incorrect.  –. No compensation is available for additional arrangements booked by hirer (e.g. flights, concert tickets). – CVcamperhire reserve the right to amend our cancellation policy for certain events. - CVcamperhire reserve the right to refuse to hire to any person, without stating cause.  6a) Cancellation by hirer: We provide free cancellation up to 2 weeks prior to departure date. after this time the booking deposit will not be refunded.  7)Smoking:  smoking is not permitted in any of our campervans. An Additional cleaning charge will be applied should smoke be detected in any of our vehicles.  8)Pets: We allow travelling with small/medium pets. If you are traveling with pets we ask you follow these simple guidelines -    Pets must be fully trained, well behaved and always supervised -    All pets are not allowed on any internal interior  9) Right to change the vehicle: If the vehicle is not available due to operational issues, another vehicle will be offered or we offer a full refund if the hirer choices to cancel  10) Breakdown and vehicle maintenance: -   Breakdown cover provided -   Driver is responsible for checking oils and coolant levels tyre pressure and batteries.  11) Responsibility when an accident occurs: •  Notify us immediately •  Names and addresses to any third parties, witnesses and report to police •  Complete incident reporting form •  Assist in handling any claims from this event  •  No deposit/ excess will be refunded  12) Fines/tolls/congestion fines: • Driver is responsible for any legal penalties and fees pertaining to any traffic violations infringements under the current road traffic legislation in the UK • Driver will be responsible to pay parking fines, tolls and traffic congestions charges incurred during the hire period •  We will notify hirer of any speeding tickets or parking tickets 13) Driving credentials: Driver must accept below age and licence credentials. •  Driver age limits – 21-70 •  We will not be able to continue with the hire if we cannot check your licence details. •  You must inform us at the time of booking if you have any endorsements on your driver licence as we may not be able to provide cover for some endorsements and charges may apply if any penalty points. •  Failure to declare any accidents or driving convictions invalidates insurance. •  If any driver fails to provide all of the correct documentation or identification on collection of the vehicle cvcamperhire will not release the vehicle and no refunds will be given.  14) Hire rates include: Unlimited milage Foldable table and 2 camp chairs (more available for hire) Pots and pans Kitchen utensils Plastic Plates, bowls, cups kettle Ramps Windscreen cover Fully comp insurance Breakdown cover and roadside assistance Electric cables A full list of what is included in our camper vans can be found on our website Charges may be applied if the driver has any traffic convictions, holds a drivers licence from a non-EU country.  15) Use of vehicle: - We expect our vehicles to be driven with caution and care - Not to be driven by someone under the influence   - Used to carry more people than its stated in the agreement. - we ask you treat our campervans with care. 16) )Hireable extras: Portaloo £ 10 Bedding kit Inc. duvet, pillows and towel £20 3x3 driveaway air awning £15 per Full gas bottle £50
