Terms and conditions 1. A 15% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your holiday dates. Unless otherwise advised, 2. The remainder of the balance is payable 6 weeks prior to your holiday or immediately if dates are within 6 weeks. A payment plan option is available if this is your preference. 3. A security deposit of £150 is also payable 6 weeks prior to your stay. The security deposit will be returned following a full caravan inspection, this will be credited back to your account within 5 working days but is dependent on whether the caravan has been left in the same clean, tidy, condition you found on arrival. Deductions for breakages or spills may be necessary. 4. The booking form link attached acts as a written agreement for the hire of the caravan, and we will require this to be returned to us along with the deposit in order to secure the date. 5. Upon receipt of all funds, and approximately 1 day prior to your stay a key release code will be issued to allow you and your family entry to the caravan. This can be sent to the mobile number/email address of your choice. 6. We normally operate a Friday change over day and ask that you depart the caravan by 10:30am on your day of departure. You can check in from 3pm on the day of arrival. 7. On entry, please do check and if you find anything missing or unsatisfactory, then please inform us immediately. (if damages are noticed following your departure this could mean forfeit of your security deposit, it is important that you conduct a thorough once over on arrival). 8. Please adhere to the following conditions of the rental: a. Strictly no smoking inside the caravan or on the decking. b. Please be energy efficient and switch off any unnecessary appliances on leaving the caravan. c. Please close and lock all windows and doors when you go out. d. Charging of electric vehicles from the caravan is not permitted, usage is being monitored. e. There are laundrette facilities on site for your convenience. The caravan has a small clothes airer to hook to the window outside. Please do not dry clothes in the caravan. f. Please remove all dirty footwear on entering the caravan. No stilettos. g. To maintain the condition of the upholstery and carpets, please don’t allow your children to use felt tip pens or playdough unsupervised in the caravan or on the veranda. h. BBQ’s are not permitted on the decking, there is plenty of space around the caravan and off the decking for cooking outdoors. 9. Duvets and pillows are supplied, please bring your own bed linen, pillowcases, towels etc. There is a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, a wii console, games, dvds and books for your use (lift underside of double bed for access to the games). My children have kindly donated for your use, please take care of the items and put away neatly after use. 10. Note that a full inventory check is performed before and after your stay by our cleaner, missing items will be deducted from your security deposit. Accidents/ breakages happen, I understand this and honesty will be appreciated if this is the case. 11. TVs are provided in all rooms, please do not remove the TV remote from the rooms to help prevent loss. (these are expensive to replace). 12. Please remember, passes are not included in the price, please purchase from Haven reception on your arrival. There are many fantastic facilities for your use on site, including a swimming pool, games arcade, day and night entertainment, bars and restaurants. The passes are required for the swimming pool and the Live Lounge entertainment, the remaining facilities are free and open to the public. 13. Single sex groups (hen/stag parties etc) are not permitted – we welcome families and couples, this is in line with site policy. 14. I understand that by electronically signing the booking form and paying the deposit, I have read and understood all of the above caravan terms and conditions prior to my holiday and agree to them. 15. Please continue to read below if you are bringing a pet. 16. Note that if we consider mis use of any of the caravan items or belongings provided for home comfort this will mean non return to our caravan in the future. We hope that this is not the case. Pet Policy Should you wish to bring a pet, this can be discussed dependant on its behaviour. As you might understand we have to limit noise and of course, we are concerned of damages. The caravan will be subject to a more in depth inspection upon departure and the security deposit will not be returned if any damages are found. SITE – Perran Sands is pet friendly however they are not permitted into the clubhouse, therefore it is inevitable that your pet will be left alone in the caravan at some point. BEACH – Dogs are permitted on the beach all year round, however must be kept on a short lead throughout July and August. Please consider these questions before you decide on bringing your pet, please provide answers in Q9 of the booking form. 1. What type of pet? 2. How many pets? 3. What breed/s? Large/small? (Caravans have limited space for a large dog, and equally are unsuitable for puppies who like space to run) 4. Is your pet toilet trained? 5. Is it used to being left alone and in an unfamiliar place? How do you think it will react if left without a watchful eye? 6. Where would you plan for your pet to sleep – bed, sofa, pet bed, pet cage? Please read below and confirm you agree to the additional T&Cs. Pet Terms & Conditions • I understand that the £150 security deposit will be forfeited in the instance of any damages (see below). • I accept liability for any damages, accidental or otherwise, if the cost exceeds £150 security deposit. • Damages include but not exclusively: o Carpet stains / odours o Furniture damage – by chewing/scratching/soiling o Damage to decking – by chewing/scratching/soiling o Caravan Owners property damage o Duvets / pillows - dog fur or stains sofa and on bare bedding, this has happened on more than one occasion and unable to get clean. Replacement is now a deductible expense from the security deposit. • I understand that by electronically signing the booking form and paying the deposit, I have read and understood all of the above pet terms and conditions prior to my holiday and agree to them.
