**1. RENTAL AGREEMENT** This rental agreement is made between the Owner ("we", "us", "our") and the Renter ("you", "your") for the hire of the motorhome described in this agreement. By confirming your booking, you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. --- **2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT** - A non-refundable deposit of [amount] is required to secure your booking. - The remaining balance must be paid no later than [number] days before the pick-up date. - Full payment is required for bookings made within [number] days of the pick-up date. - All payments are processed securely through the booking platform or via bank transfer. --- **3. CANCELLATION POLICY** - Cancellations made more than [number] days before pick-up: full refund less deposit. - Cancellations made within [number] days before pick-up: no refund. - We recommend taking out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen cancellations. --- **4. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS** - The driver must be at least [age, e.g., 25] years old and hold a valid full driving licence held for a minimum of [number] years. - A DVLA share code must be provided before the pick-up date for all named drivers. - All drivers must be named on the rental agreement and insurance policy. --- **5. INSURANCE** - The motorhome is insured for comprehensive cover for the named drivers only. - The insurance does not cover: - Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. - Driving off-road or on unpaved roads. - Damage caused by negligence or misuse. - Tyre, windscreen, or underbody damage (unless covered by an optional excess protection). - An excess of £[amount] applies per claim. Optional excess protection is available at an additional cost. --- **6. PICK-UP AND RETURN** - **Pick-up time:** [insert time, e.g., 2:00 PM] - **Return time:** [insert time, e.g., 10:00 AM] - Late returns will be charged at £[amount] per hour or part thereof. - The motorhome must be returned in the same clean condition as received, with the fuel tank at the same level (as agreed). - The waste water tank and toilet cassette must be emptied before return. - A full joint inspection will be carried out at pick-up and return, and any damage will be recorded. --- **7. FUEL, GAS, AND MILEAGE** - Fuel: The motorhome must be returned with the same fuel level as at pick-up (full / ¾ / ½ / ¼ as agreed). Otherwise, the cost of the missing fuel plus an administration fee of £[amount] will be charged. - Gas: The gas cylinder is provided with a full tank at pick-up. If used, the replacement cost will be deducted from the deposit. - Mileage: Unlimited / limited to [number] miles per day. Extra miles will be charged at £[amount] per mile (as agreed). --- **8. DAMAGE AND SECURITY DEPOSIT** - A security deposit of £[amount] is required at pick-up. - The deposit is refundable within [number] days after return, subject to: - No damage to the motorhome or its contents. - Full tank of fuel returned. - Waste water and toilet emptied. - No smoking or pet odours. - All equipment and inventory present and in good condition. - Any damage, excessive cleaning, or missing items will be deducted from the deposit. --- **9. PROHIBITED USE** The motorhome must NOT be used for: - **Smoking** (including e-cigarettes and vapes) – strictly prohibited. - **Transporting pets or any live animals** – strictly prohibited. - Carrying goods for hire or reward. - Racing, speed testing, or off-road driving. - Sub-leasing or assigning the vehicle to any third party. - Driving outside the agreed territories (UK / Europe) without prior consent. --- **10. MAINTENANCE AND BREAKDOWN** - The renter is responsible for checking and maintaining fluid levels (oil, coolant, screenwash) during the rental period. - The motorhome is supplied with a full set of tools, spare tyre, and warning triangle. - In case of breakdown, please contact the emergency breakdown service provided with the insurance cover (see insurance documents). - The renter must not arrange third-party repairs without prior consent from the owner. Unauthorised repairs will not be reimbursed. --- **11. CLEANING AND RETURN CONDITION** - The motorhome must be returned in a clean and tidy condition, both inside and out. - Failure to do so will result in a cleaning fee of £[amount] deducted from the deposit. - A deep-cleaning fee of £[amount] will be charged if there is any evidence of smoking or pets (hair, odour, stains). --- **12. LIABILITY AND INDEPENDENCE** - The renter is fully responsible for any fines, penalties, or parking charges incurred during the rental period. - The owner is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused by the renter's negligence or misuse of the vehicle. - The motorhome is provided "as is" and is deemed fit for purpose; the renter acknowledges having inspected the vehicle before signing this agreement. --- **13. TERMINATION** We reserve the right to terminate this rental agreement immediately if: - The renter breaches any of these Terms and Conditions. - The motorhome is used in a way that could endanger people or property. - False or misleading information was provided at the time of booking. --- **14. GOVERNING LAW** This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of England and Wales. --- **15.
