A summary of the key points and those relating to the booking process are as follows: The campervan and its equipment remains the property of Vdub Camper Hire at all times. All payments made to or by Vdub Camper Hire shall be made in pounds sterling. All payments to Vdub Camper Hire are exclusive of VAT. Driver Eligibility Requirements All drivers must have held a full (as opposed to provisional) driving licence for at least 2 years. All drivers must be at least 25 and not more than 70 years of age. Drivers with less that 6 penalty points on their driving license will be permitted to rent a vehicle subject to the payment of an additional insurance premium. Drivers with more than 6 penalty points on their driving licence or who have been banned from driving for a period of 12 months or more within the previous 5 years will not be permitted to hire from us. Insurance The insurance cover provided is fully comprehensive for the duration of the hire only and includes damage to the camper and the property of a third party, subject to an insurance excess of £1000. The insurance DOES NOT cover damage to the windscreen or tyres, theft of stereo equipment, personal effects or any damage to the interior of the camper or other equipment on hire. The cost of replacement or repair of anything not covered by the insurance will be deducted from the security deposit. Breakdown Our camper has full breakdown cover provided by The AA – Relay. Bookings & Deposits Our online availability calendar will be updated with your booking once we have received an online enquiry and a non-refundable booking deposit of £150. Details of how to pay the deposit are included on the booking form. Once booked, all payments are due at least 4 weeks in advance of your hire, or immediately if booking ‘last minute’. Restrictions Unless otherwise agreed, pets are not permitted. Unless otherwise agreed, travel outside of the UK is not permitted. Smoking in our camper is NOT permitted at ANY time.
