Copies of the following documents from each Hirer/Driver are required:
a) Driving Licence Photo Card
b) Online DVLA Licence Check Result/Print Out www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence
c) 2 Separate Utility Bills (Excluding Mobile Phone Bills) dated within 90 days of the hire start date. Screenshots of online bank statements can sometimes be accepted.

Insured Vehicle cannot, unless agreed with the insurance, be let out on hire to or be driven by:
a) Persons convicted of an offence in connection with driving a motor vehicle, motorcycle &/or have had their licence endorsed, suspended, more than 6 penalty points. Spent convictions, covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act1974 may be disregarded.
b) Persons who had their insurance declined and/or renewal refused and/or special insurance terms imposed as a
result of claims experience and/or have had their insurance or cover cancelled by any Motor Insurer
c) Persons engaged wholly or partly in professional entertainment or professional sports persons.
d) Jockeys and persons connected with racing of any sort.
e) Undergraduates and/or students under 25 years of age.
f) Persons who, whilst driving, have been involved in more than one accident during the past 3 years.
g) Foreign Service Personnel other than persons holding a full valid United Kingdom or EU licence for two years or more.

THIS IS OUR RENTAL AGREEMENT :

DEFINITIONS In these rental conditions the following terms have the following meanings, unless explicitly stated otherwise or the context requires otherwise:
A. Lessee/Renter: the natural person who rents a Rental Object from the lessor/rentee;
B. Driver: the natural person who is specified by the lessee as a driver of the motorhome or campervan;
C. Lessor/Rentee: the natural person who rents out his motorhome or caravan to the lessee;
D. Rental Period: the entire rental period as permitted in the rental agree;
E. Rental Price: the total price agreed for the use of the rental object during the rental period;
F. Rental Object: the camper or caravan that is rented by the lessee from of the lessor;
G. Insurance: the insurance company where the lessor is insured for the rental object;
H. Insurance Contract: the insurance contract between the insurance company and the lessor;
I. Service Station: The company or natural person responsible for the intake and issuance of the rental object.
J. Transfer Document Document is filled in & signed by the Lessor & the Lessee at the moment of pick up & return of Rental Object
K. Rental Agreement: Contract on the basis of which an Owner grants a right of possession over a Vehicle for a given time & price.
L. 3rd party booking agencies. Who may also be involved in the hire agreement, or rental process.

GENERAL
2.1. The Privacy Policy & the General Terms & Conditions are integral parts of this Rental Agreement.
2.2. Lessor has to agree to this Rental Agreement by accepting this document.
2.3. Lessee has to agree with these rental conditions by accepting this agreement.
2.4. In case one or more of the provisions in the Rental Agreement are or become invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this Rental Agreement apply in full. The invalid, illegal or unenforceable provisions will be replaced, whereby the purpose and intent of the original provision(s) is observed as far as reasonably possible.

BOOKING PROCESS
3.1. The entire booking process has to be completed
3.2. A booking request can only be completed in case the Lessor has agreed to the Booking Request
3.3 After payment the booking is considered to be definitive.
3.4. Payment is done in two tranches, 50% is paid directly up to maximally £400 and the remainder is due eight weeks prior to the starting date, or on terms agreed by both parties.
3.5. In case the second payment is not paid on time, the Lessor has the right to cancel the booking and regular cancellation fees apply. Initial booking fees are non refundable.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE LESSOR
4.1. The Lessor is the legitimate owner of the Rental Object
4.2. The Lessor is authorized to rent out the Rental Object
4.3. The Rental Object is well maintained & suitable for the purpose for which the Rental Object is made available to the Lessee
4.4. The Lessor is responsible for a correct & accurate representation of the Rental Object.
4.5 The Rental Object will be provided and received on the location and at the time specified in the booking agreement.
4.6. Notice of any costs or repairs resulting from the transfer form within 78 hours after the Rental Object has been returned to the Lessor.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE LESSEE
5.1. The Lessee will return the Rental Object at the agreed end date, time & place, as agreed with the Lessor on booking. If the Lessee does not comply with the agreements, there is a fine of 250% of the daily rental price, for every day the rental object is overdue.
5.2. The Lessee is liable for any damage, by any of the users, that results from non-compliance with the Rental Agreement,
5.3. The Lessee is required to ensure proper travel insurance, including personnel possessions & cancellation insurance.
5.4. The Lessee will receive and return the Rental Object on the location specified in the booking agreement.
5.5. The Lessee must return the Rental Object fully cleaned (interior and inventory). If not returned as stated the Lessor has the right to charge a cleaning fee of up to £250.
5.6 The Lessee must return the Rental Object with the agreed at pick up, transfer, the exact amount of fuel, if not the Lessor has the right to charge for the fuel costs as well as an additional fee of up to £35.

RULES OF EXCHANGE OF THE RENTAL OBJECT
6.1. The parties must note any damages & / or dents & / or scratches of the Rental Object & / or absence of inventory prior to departure & directly after return on the transfer document. This can be done, on paper, video, photo, any media or communication transfer.
6.2. Any costs or repairs noted on the transfer document will be charged to the Lessee.

BOND
7.1. The bond per rental period is £500 to £750 dependant on the motorhome rented
7.2. The bond is reserved off the Lessee’s credit-debit card, bank transfer, paypal or the like, as agreed by all parties.
7.3. The Lessor will try to release the bond within five business days after the Rental Period has ended.

INVENTORY
8.1. Inventory is included in the rental price as advertised.
8.2. The Lessee must return the inventory in full without any damage.
8.3. The Lessor has the right to charge for repair or replacement costs in case any inventory is damaged or missing.

CANCELLATION
9.1. If the Lessee fails to comply with the Rental Agreement it's immediately terminated without judicial intervention & without notice.
9.2. If the Lessee cancels the Rental Agreement a cancellation fee will be charged/No refund dependant of rental date:
9.3. A. 20% total fee made on booking. B. 50% total fee if made within 14 days. C. Total fee if made within 7 days of Rental date.
9.4. In case of force majeure, the Lessor cannot be held liable.

10. EXTEND THE RENTAL PERIOD
10.1. The Lessee can request to extend the rental period, the Lessor has the right to accept or reject this request.
10.2. If the Lessor accepts to extend the rental period it should be validated.
10.3. The return of the Rental Object prior to expiration of the Rental Period cannot be considered to be a cancellation will not have any consequences as to the duration of the Rental Agreement or the owed Rental Price.

RULES OF CONDUCT
11.1. Lessee guarantees that they/Driver are in a healthy & stable physical & mental condition needed to operate the Rental Object safely.
11.2. The Lessee is responsible for the goods and people he / she transports in the Rental Object.
11.3. It is strictly prohibited to transfer illegal goods in the Rental Object.
11.4. The Driver must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver license issued at least 3 years ago in order to drive the Rental Object as dictated by the laws & regulations in the land of origin of the vehicle.
11.5. If the Driver is from overseas, he / she must have a valid international driver license.
11.6. The Rental Object may only be used for the maximum number of persons specified on the booking process.
11.7. It's prohibited to re-rent the Rental Object or use it for commercial purposes. The Owner has the right to claim the full amount of the bond in addition to any direct or indirect damage of the Rental Object in case the Lessee fails to comply.
11.8. The Lessee is liable for ALL traffic/parking/charges/violations & / or toll roads fines. An admin charge of £30 per case will be applied.
11.9. The Lessee or Driver must use the Rental Object in accordance with the instructions provided by any agency and / or the Lessor, and / or the instructions given.
11.10. The Lessee or Driver respectively must drive safely, carefully.
11.11. It is strictly prohibited to drive faster than the maximum speed limit or in a dangerous manner.
11.12. The Rental Object is to be used in accordance with the local laws, rules and regulations.
11.13. The Rental Object can only be used for the intended purposes.
11.14. The Lessee must camp at official camping sites. In the event that damages occur at an unofficial/wild camping site the insurance doesn’t cover the costs, the Lessee is liable for all the costs.
11.15. Towing costs when parked on unsuitable ground will be paid by the Lessee.
11.16. The Lessee MUST inform the Lessor directly if Rental Object shows any malfunction or flashing light on the dashboard.

DESTINATIONS
12.1. The Lessee is allowed to visit the countries as set out on the reservation form & must be agreed on before rental begins.
12.2. The Lessee must not visit countries marked as risk areas by the insurance company.

DAMAGE AND INSURANCE
13.1. Reimbursement due to malfunction and / or damage is excluded.
13.2. In case of damage or involvement in an accident, the Lessee must immediately contact the lessor.
13.3. The Lessee must take pictures of the damage and / or collision before moving the Rental Object.
13.4. In case of a collision the local police must be informed, the Driver & all involved parties must sign an accident claim form.
13.5. The Lessee shall at all times be liable for any damage not eligible for reimbursement by the insurance company.
13.6. The Lessee is responsible for normal operating costs.
13.7. All costs incurred by the Lessee, or any passengers, through criminal activity or traffic violations will be charged to the Lessee.

PROPERTY
14.1. The Rental Object is & always remains property of the Lessor.
14.2. The Lessee is prohibited to sell the Rental Object.

LIABILITY
15.1. The Lessor as well as or associates are not liable for personal, tangible and / or intangible damage caused by the Lessee, the Driver(s) or his travelling companions.
15.2. If liable, the liability of the Lessor is limited to the rental price. 3rd party agencies, booking companies may have their own hire agreements and these must be adhered to.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
16 The English Law & the Courts of England and Wales govern the rental agreement.

Hire Drive Endorsement.
Notwithstanding anything contained herein to the contrary it is hereby understood and agreed that this insurance covers the insured vehicle whilst let out on hire, subject to the following conditions:

2. In addition to the Stated Policy Driving Warranty, the Insured Vehicle shall not be let out on hire to or be driven by:
a) Persons convicted of an offence in connection with driving a motor vehicle, motorcycle &/or have had their licence endorsed, suspended, more than 6 penalty points. Spent convictions, covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act1974 may be disregarded.
b) Persons who had their insurance declined and/or renewal refused and/or special insurance terms imposed as a
result of claims experience and/or have had their insurance or cover cancelled by any Motor Insurer
c) Persons engaged wholly or partly in professional entertainment or professional sports persons.
d) Jockeys and persons connected with racing of any sort.
e) Undergraduates and/or students under 25 years of age.

3. The Insured vehicles shall be driven only by the Hirer or other permitted driver who has completed and signed a Hire Drive Proposal (by each hirer or other permitted driver). The proposal must be completed by the Hirer or other permitted driver in all respects.
4. Any Lessee belongings are not covered, including, vehicles, contents, personnel possessions left with us or at our premises are left at your own risk.
