Set in a small hamlet on the outskirts of Amlwch, North Anglesey, we offer comfortable and clean accommodation for customers who want a tranquil and relaxing holiday, in an informal setting, without all the dos and don’ts of an official site. A 2 bedroom static caravan holiday home for hire on a private hamlet on the outskirts of Amlwch, North Anglesey - PETS WELCOME The caravan is situated at the bottom of our garden and has ramped access. Unfortunately, the caravan doors are too narrow to allow full wheelchair access.
We welcome children and dogs but please be advised there is open access to a B road at the front of the property and there are two fields adjacent to the caravan with livestock!
In return for all of this and the facilities and amenities listed below, we hope you will be respectful of our belongings and enjoy sharing our caravan. Ironing board and iron (ask me) Additional convector heating (ask me) for £3 per day charge Local Amenities (within 2 miles) · Restaurant and bar within walking distance · Parys Mountain – a must see for walkers, painters, photographers and geologists · Fishing at Bull Bay (2.5 miles), Amlwch Port (2 miles) or Cemaes Bay (5 miles) · Golf at Bull Bay, Benllech (7 miles) or Holyhead (22 miles) and Llangefni driving range (13 miles) – used by Danny Willett during his summer holidays to Anglesey! · Council leisure centre with swimming pool, tennis & badminton and gym (< 1 mile) · Snooker club (1.5 miles) · Laundrette (1.5 miles Mon – Sat AM) Choice of takeaways inc. Indian, Chinese or Cantonese cuisines (1.5 miles). Grocery stores – local Co-op (1.5 miles) - Tesco, Asda, Iceland, Lidl, Aldi, Morrison and Waitrose all within half an hour drive With 125 miles of stunning coastline, Anglesey is recognised as an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ and is renowned for its huge choice of beaches, historical monuments, nature reserves and attractions to explore. There’s a wealth of activities too including walking the coastal path, cycling, bird and wildlife spotting including dolphins at Bull Bay or seals and puffin colonies at Beaumaris or the nature reserve at Cemlyn, famous for its rare sandwich, arctic and common terns. Also, interesting maritime life can be seen in the Sea Zoo and at Butterfly Palace (Pili Palas) you can walk through tropical gardens and see a plethora of graceful butterflies, birds and reptiles. You can visit a working windmill at Llanddeusant, and follow the "Copper Trail" at Parys Mountain which was the reason Amlwch was the greatest copper producer in the world in the 17th century! The island has a wealth of history too. From iron age forts, bronze age villages, burial mounds and standing stones of our ancient ancestors to impressive castles and the famously named Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. Anglesey has some great pubs and eateries too, offering first class cuisine, one of which is The Lastra Farm Hotel which is within easy walking distance while a £5 taxi will get you to the watering holes in Amlwch!
