Description

Fern chalet is a two storey accommodation set over two floors. Upstairs, there is a double and twin bedroom, including extra sofa-bed. There is a bathroom including electric shower over the bathtub. Downstairs, there is an open plan kitchen and lounge area, including an extra sofa bed. An outdoor dining area is provided, and it overlooks well presented communal garden. We provide free linen hire, free wifi, free electricity, and a well behaved dog is permitted for no extra charge. Parking is available on either side of the chalet block.

Fern chalet is located on the popular Welcome Family Holiday Park, as featured on TV show 'Happy Campers'. Our guests are allowed to use on site facilities including the children's playground, sports pitch and shop complex. There are two takeaways on site, and many more in the village of Dawlish Warren. The indoor pool complex is available to guests, subject to payment of daily admission fees. The Welcome Starlight club is open everyday, and allows our guests to enjoy the cabaret and entertainment programme (subject to site management rules about timing and availability). The Hazelwood clubhouse on the park across the road also allow our guests to enjoy the entertainment on offer there every night, including bingo, quiz events and cabaret. They offer children's entertainment as well.

The Welcome Family Holiday Park is located just a few minutes flat walk to the Blue Flag beach resort of Dawlish Warren. Here you will find a train and bus stop for public transport needs. There is an 18 hole golf course, a nature reserve and selection of shops, along with the Boathouse pub alongside the beach. There is a fun fair and go kart track for younger guests. There are cafes, pubs and takeaways in the village of Dawlish Warren. There is a coastal walk into Dawlish, and lots of local tourist attractions.

The property manager lives next door to the Welcome Family Holiday Park so check-in is very easy. Guests are required to sign a booking form provided by the property manager prior to key release. We are unable to accept bookings from stag/ hen/ school-leaver/ college-leaver or similar groups due to site rules.
