Cancel up to 14 days before check in date and 50% of the hire price will be refunded.

Cancel within 14 days of your trip and the hire price is non-refundable.

If you arrive and decide to finish your rental early, there is no refund.

Description

Milo is our VW T6 campervan, based in East Devon. He comes with all the usual features that you would expect when hiring a VW camper, such as:
- elevating roof
- rock and roll pull out double bed
- fridge
- hob
- sink
- pots and pans
- utensils
- cleaning materials etc ...

In addition he also has other features, which we have found from our own camping trips, help to make things a bit more comfortable, such as:
- lowered suspension
- easy swivel captain seats in the cab
- electric heat pads in both passenger and driver seats
- wider double bed (130cm)
- extra long 25m electric hook-up cable
- Large solar panel and leisure battery
- wind out Fiamma sun blind
- optional tow bar and bike rack
- optional awning either poled or airbeam

INSURANCE AND SECURITY DEPOSIT
We have our own self-drive insurance so you will not need to buy your own. but as with any self-drive insurance there are strict requirements that each driver has to meet.

IF YOU WISH TO BOOK MILO, YOUR DRIVING RECORD NEEDS TO SATISFY THE CONDITIONS BELOW AND YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS, many thanks:

SECURITY DEPOSIT
- we are required by our insurer to ensure that you pay us a returnable security deposit of £750
- at least 10 days before your hire period commences
- this will need to be cleared funds before you can start your hire
- be paid by a clear and traceable method (BACS, credit or debit card)
- be paid by the primary driver

DRIVER CHECKS AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR EACH DRIVER
- be aged between 25-75
- copy of photo card drivers license (address and ID must be up to date)
- DVLA online license check to obtain a DVLA checkcode
- no more than 2 convictions of 3 points each eg. 2 x SP30, 3 points each
- no more than one no-fault incident/claim in the last 3 years
- no bans or disqualifications
- have held a UK driving license for driving a car (category B) for more than 2 years
- 2 utility bills showing proof of address dated within 90 day of the hire date

PROVISIONAL ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR BOOKING REQUEST
On requesting to book the campervan, if we accept your request to book, this acceptance will be PROVISIONAL based on:
- you agreeing to and signing our terms and conditions, and those of our insurers, Allianz insurance
- each driver completing, signing and satisfying the conditions of our driver questionnaire
- the primary driver completing and signing our rental agreement and declaration
- the primary driver paying the £750 security deposit as per our acceptable payment methods, and it reaching us as cleared funds
- the primary driver paying the rental fee in full for the hire of the campervan
- all payments being made by the primary driver for both the hire fee and the security deposit
- we are based in a lovely part of the country with lots of beaches and places to walk - we therefore specify that you limit your travel in the campervan to Devon, Cornwall and Dorset

WHEN YOU COME TO PICK UP THE CAMPERVAN
- you will need to physically hand to us the driving license for each driver so that we can visually check them - if you do not do so we will not be able to hire the campervan to you
- we will go through our terms and conditions and those of our insurers - you will need to adhere to these, be deemed by us to be fit to drive, and sign these terms and conditions if not done so already
- pay any outstanding balance of your hire fee (to be paid by the primary driver)
- if your driving license has more than the allowed 2 x SP30 endorsements or is defaced, you will not be able to hire the campervan
