Owner Description
Lola is the latest camper to join our fleet of VW girls, she is a 4-berth, right-hand drive 1971 early bay camper and is as blue as the sea. Lola may be vintage but she is just like new having been newly restored. Gone is the rusty orange paintwork, now retro blue and pastel white with shiny chrome wheels and a big VW badge up front. She has a new comfy interior and lots of mod cons, with lights and sound all round, heating and a big pull out bed and 2 bunks in the roof fun for kids, but best of all is her elevating roof. It’s a Martin Walter Dormobile Roof and this side lift roof is our favourite as it's spacious, and it's 2 glass windows make it light and airy - with the roof down at night you can lie in bed and watch the stars.Lola is equipped for Spring Summer Autumn and Winter with a super-efficient gas powered heating system, which means you don't have to wear long johns to keep toasty! The skylights let a cool breeze waft through on warmer days and, of course, you can throw open the rear hatch and side door to take in the views.
If you want to chill out after a full on day of adventure with your furry friends, or snuggle up on a cosy romantic getaway for two – Lola’s definitely your girl!
Lola comes equipped with everything you need minus a towel, bedding, and clothes for your next adventure. There is storage for your gear but space limited so please bear this in mind when packing. For a small extra charge, you can take a ‘drive away’ awning with you for more space and sleep in the inner tent.
It isn't easy to show our hire rates on here so please message us for a quote. As a guide minimum hire of 3 nights ranges from £390 low season to £495 in the peak season. Weekly hires range from £695 to £815 depending on season.
