Owner Description
Shug is an Ice Blue VW T4 camper van available for hire from Glasgow, Scotland.Stand out from the crowd in this retro classic. Shug spent his first fifteen years as a bakery delivery van in Glasgow. He came to us in 2018 with only 50K miles on the clock and an immaculate service history. We converted him during the winter of 2019 / 2020. This isn’t some shabby old T4 – Shug is a classic van in mint condition with a brand new conversion.
Shug has travelling seats for 5 and sleeping for 4 in the van – there’s a kingsize double downstairs and a normal double in the pop top. There are captains seats up front and a 150cm RIB rock and roll bed seat in the back. The RIB is the best and safest of the rock and roll seats and the 150cm is the biggest – prepare yourself for great sleeps! There are plenty of 12 volt lights as well as USB charging points and a 400W inverter to power your laptop.
Shug has twin gas rings for cooking and a 12 volt tap for cold water supply. There’s a portable sink for washing dishes either in or out. And there’s a 48 litre fridge / freezer.
All pots, pans and crockery are included. There’s also a teapot and a cafetiere.
For safety there’s a fire extinguisher as well as a CO2 detector.
To keep you cosy we have a 2KW diesel heater and black out curtains all round.
