Owner Description
Here at The Freedom Campers, we have Samantha, our Roller Team 746 motorhome. With this motorhome, whether there are just the two of you who like that extra space or larger families who want to enjoy the great outdoors, this is the motorhome for you.With all the modern amenities set up for you to go and wild camp at or on the many sites to choose from, this is the perfect motorhome.
There is a very large over-cab bed; the rear lounge can be left as 2 singles or 1 large double bed; and the dinette makes up into a 3/4 bed.
Samantha is equipped with all the mod cons for your adventures: a 3-gas ring hob, oven, and grill; all cooking equipment; a large fridge with a small box freezer compartment that operates with 12 volts, 220 volts, and gas; and plenty of storage.
There is a 24-inch smart TV with USB charging points in the large living area. There is a dining area behind the passenger seat that can be extended for larger groups, and there is a well-stocked cupboard above with games for all ages, so you are never bored.
Also, there is a spacious shower and toilet area.
Our motorhome also comes with a full heating system that can be operated at the flick of a switch.
For ease of use, there is a full, easy-to-use control panel above the door to operate lighting and heating and to let you know water and battery levels.
In the cab area, the mod cons continue with a Bluetooth phone connection and mobile phone holder, cruise control, a 6-speed gearbox, air conditioning, and a rear view camera.
Samantha also has a large rear garage for storing all outdoor equipment, including levelling ramps for uneven surfaces and electrical cables for electric hook-ups.
At the rear, there is a bike rack for up to four cycles for the great outdoors.
Dog-friendly motorhome, and we can supply blankets to be used. There may be additional costs for cleaning as expected, which can be discussed upon booking, and depending on the breed, please feel free to ask.
Hire Days are 7 days a week to suit you.
Insurance
All drivers must be aged between 23 and 75 with a full license held for at least 2 years.
We can accommodate older drivers, so please call and we can contact our insurance to see if we can accommodate you.
We can accept UK, EU, Australian, New Zealand, American, and many others, so please contact us to check with us in advance.
We also have full UK breakdown cover for your peace of mind.
Extra Drivers
We can cater for additional drivers for only £20 per driver.
Deposit
We require a £1000 security deposit however this can be reduced to £250 for only £15 per day waiver.
Required ID
We require two forms of ID for collection and a driver's license.
1. 2 utility bills, bank statements, etc. dated in the last 3 months.
2. A photo ID, e.g. a licence or passport
3. Driving License
Collection
Upon collection of the vehicle, you will be given full instructions on the use of all equipment and any questions you may have.
We are available 24/7, with a mobile number supplied to you.
You can arrange for local taxi companies from all of these locations within easy reach of us.
1. Newcastle Airport, Approx. 50 minutes, 40 miles
2. North Shields ferry terminal Approx. 40 minutes, 30 miles
3. Durham train station Approx. 25 minutes, 15 miles
4. Hartlepool train station. Approx. 10 minutes, 5 miles
