Description

Rita is an expedition vehicle, equipped to tackle all terrains, with a stylish and homely feel. Designed and built by two architects, Rita features solid oak flooring and joinery with insulating cork lining throughout. The wood burning stove, made from hollow square steel, and soft furnishings in Welsh-made Mid-Mentury Modern wool are perfect for keeping cosy. She has been uniquely customised to run on vegetable oil if required and has so far travelled 15,000 miles on it, including a 4000 mile trip around rural France. As a waste product, this is a CO2 neutral fuel, but she quite happily runs on diesel too. The full kitchen provides for all your culinary needs. The built in fridge/freezer, sink with running water and double hob are complimented by special touches such as the locally made oak chopping boards and Glastonbury's UK made recycled stainless steel pint cups. A tiltable roof-mounted solar panel provides ample power for all your electrical demands, with the further option of plugging into the mains. For the perfect handmade campervan, hire Rita.
