Jo was very accommodating, the motorhome was spotless and well equipt, they were always available during our break for advice and guidance and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
We hired a motorhome for 7 days and will be booking again in the very near future. From start to finish the experience has been easy with quick response from Susie to any queries we had. The collection procedure was easy despite us forgetting to get a DVLA code and Ewan made sure we had all the information we needed before we set off. The MH was cleaned to a very high standard. If I was to have any negative it would be that the pots and pans are a bit limited, but thats personal preference and not a biggy. We loved every minute thank you guys.
The van you see in the pictures is in that condition, its like brand new ! Jose and Vicki are most accommodating , although it looks big it is very easy to drive . I would not hesitate hiring again , the auto box is a piece of cake. Stuart and Sylvia.
We really enjoyed our motorhome mini break in the Brecon Beacons just before lockdown. Thank you Steve and Julia for rescuing our holiday. Great van except for the two door handles that need replacing and the dangerous screws coming through the bathroom wall that we both skinned our knuckles on. Otherwise good. We will hire again.
loved it

This was our first time doing this kind of thing and we must say that dealing with Jill was a pleasure. Great communication with small video clips sent to our phone with all instructions on how to use things. Nice straight forward hand over covering everything we needed to know and we were on our way. Great motor home equipped with everything we needed. If you are thinking of doing it, give JMS a go. Simon & Kim Johnson
We have just experienced a fabulous week around the NC500. We hired a 6 berth motorhome which had more than enough room for the two of us. It was easy to drive and easy to use (we had a very comprehensive handover!), as it was our first motorhome experience. On reflection the 4 berth T590 motorhome would have suited us a little bit more. The staff were all very good and helped to make our trip hugely enjoyable!
Booking and collecting the vehicle was really easy. It’s a new vehicle. The vehicle came equipped with pretty much what you would need in a small camper van. We got shown how to operate the different items and our vehicle was left in their lockable compound. The van has a decent engine so no issues driving it. As it is a short wheel base you will have to use the campsite facilities but that is the normal. The owners are also very friendly. All in all I would not hesitate to rent from them again. Thank you
We hired Jill's motorhome for a month so we could visit relatives and travel around Scotland. Jill was very accommodating and allowed us to view the vehicle to make sure that it was right for us. Before collection day Jill sent us lots of little videos to show how things worked eg hot water. When we collected the vehicle 'Jilly' , Jill took the time to explain everything again. The vehicle was very clean and tidy, fridge on, toilet rolls, soap, washing up liquid etc all in place. Jilly is very comfortable and we had no problems during our trip. Our deposit was returned promptly.
Easy to deal with, van was perfect, no issues at all
For our first time using a mororhome it was a great way to 'camp' Once we got used to the systems in the van we really enjoyed it and would certainly recommend anyone to try it. The company was friendly and helpful offering good advice from years of experience and were very professional with the booking before and after our hire and would use them again without question.
Thank you for your comments. Glad you had a great holiday and hope to see you again Helen & Dave
Maura's caravan was just home from home. On our arrival we found her caravan to be very clean and tidy. It was a pleasure to come back there each day after a really hectic day out. The location was excellent as it was only a few minutes drive to the A55, either to go north or south. The added bonus for this caravan, was the fact that it had its own garden area and patio area to eat outside. Most of the caravans don't have an area to sit outside at all. Maura has certainly given her caravan some TLC to make it look appealing to her customers. Thank you Maura for making our holiday extra special.
So nice to be appreciated.
We rented the van for 21 days in August-September 2020 and it wasn't just the wet weather that disappointed. Simon is a nice friendly man but in our opinion is too laid back to provide a professional rental experience. This is his only van but we don't think he uses it for much more than short breaks and we found a number of things needed maintenance attention that would have been picked up by a regular motorhomer and put right before handover - hinges, catches, locks, etc. I repaired a number of these myself during the trip. I also had to work out a way of silencing the extremely distracting road noises that came through the mic and speakers of the reversing camera. No adjustments are possible. Fortunately future hirers won't have that problem to deal with. Although the van has a solar panel on the roof and we travelled around 80 miles per day the leisure battery never held the charge being put into it by these means for more than a couple of hours. We had to be extremely careful with using lights and electrical equipment when not on hook-up and often resorted to using our own battery-powered lamps for evenings. Instructions for setting up the TV were absent and a phone call did not elicit helpful advice. Similarly with the key for the fuel cap lock that Simon was unable to identify. The cap had to go unlocked throughout the trip, held in place by a wedge of kitchen roll. Much of this may sound like petty nit-picking but the set up with the gas reserve tank was more serious. The main tank lasted two weeks of careful use but when I went on to the reserve suddenly discovered its tube was not connected via a standard crossover but was simply hanging loose. What should have been a simple task of turning off one tank and turning on the other became a major undertaking. No spanner was provided to move the connector from one tank to the other and it was only my knowing that it was a left-hand thread that made it possible, with a huge effort, to move the connector from one tank to the other by using a pair of pipe grips in the 'toolbox' to undo the nuts. I think the wing mirrors are oversized for the van, sticking out two inches more than needed, and more than those of similar vans. They cannot be adjusted in this respect. This contributed to my smashing one of them on the mirror of a parked van when an oncoming vehicle was too near the centre of the road - and thus a constant anxiety about repeating that incident through the rest of the trip. Fortunately, Simon helpfully replaced the mirror himself on return so excessive garage charges were not incurred against our deposit (the insurance provided has a £1,000 excess). It cost only £220. We could quibble about two other costs set against the deposit but as they were only around £30, and Simon saved us money on the mirror, will not do so. The radio/c.d. player is good. The van drove fine and has sufficient power to cruise at 70mph and brakes, gearbox and clutch operate satisfactorily. No roadside recovery service details are provided. In summary, we would not hire from Simon again despite him being a decent bloke. He seems just too relaxed about the whole thing.
The gentleman who wrote this told me he was experienced He damages the wing mirror on a stationary obstacle. He would not believe me when I told him the petrol cap wa
We hired Betty 2 for a 4 day camping trip in Wales and had the best time. Betty 2 is spacious with the roof up and well equipped with a fridge, cooker, water pump and plenty of storage space. We even managed to squeeze my 6ft 4 partner comfortably in the bed at night! Betty's owners were friendly and extremely helpful and we honestly couldn't have had a better camping experience. Thanks so much!!! Would definitely recommend to others.
Highly recommended, Clem &Nic took great care of Betty 2 while on their road trip. Thanks guys for a perfect rental experience we would welcome you back anytime! Many thanks.
Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Isle of Skye! Lovely camper just wished we had longer.
Motorhome was excellent and we will definitely use you again !!
We really enjoyed our stay in the motorhome. Paul was very helpful throughout the entire process and would highly recommend him. The motorhome was well furnished. In fact we enjoyed ourselves so much we've gone out and purchased one!
Thank you so much for looking after our motorhome!
