We live in a motor home in NZ so operating any rental vehicle is easy. We have rented motor homes in Australia many times so we know what we expect when we pay good money for a rental. Stacey explained how everything worked but we found some small issues along the way The way of filling the water tank wasn’t easy as not all campsites had the connections that the motor home needed - the motor home was missing a bucket for carrying water so had to borrow one from elsewhere. The crockery, utensils, pots etc were lacking in numbers & of any quality. The TV 12 volt plug was not near the TV so unusable when electrical hook up not used. The van itself ran well so while the issues are minor they all account for the quality of any holiday
From start to finish, our short break away went smoothly. Once we had hired the van, David was in touch quickly and was very helpful and friendly. Picking up the van, Little Al, was very simple, and it was very well equipped and well-presented. Driving was very straightforward - I had been a bit concerned about that but David said it was just like driving a big car and he was right. The top box was very useful, spare gas bottle, awning, chairs and a small table were stored there, but there was plenty of room for us to put a bag too, freeing up space in the van. Little Al had everything we needed, with lots of nice touches to make you feel at home such as a large kneeler cushion, air fresheners and neat storage boxes. The bed was easy to operate and comfortable. We covered a fair few miles and stayed in a different campsite every night and were really pleased by how easy everything was to set up whenever we arrived at our destination. If we had any questions, David was very quick to reply, even though he was on holiday himself! All in all, a great short break in a great van.

Booked for 6 days, Mike's handover was excellent and the overall service couldn't be faulted. Vehicles are spot on, fully equipped, very easy to drive and very comfortable. Can't actually see the point in buying one when the hire cost is this reasonable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aleva, and already have to several friends. We'll be back for sure.

The van was spot on, very good on fuel for the miles we did and the roads we were on, the layout of the inside was ideal for what we wanted and the sleeping above the cab was very good. All in all lovely people to deal with and only had to call them once simply because forgot how to turn the heater on for the water but Mike rang back and talked us through it. A fantastic way to see our country and the freedom to go at your own pace. We use again without doubt. Many thanks Ian and Lynn A1+
The van was immaculate, very comfortable to drive and to live in , everything ran so smooth. Terri was a pleasure to deal with and we would definitely hire with her again.
This was our first motorhome trip and we loved it. Did the NC500 and would recommend it to anyone. Our experience with leisure rentals direct was first class. Great people to deal with and went out of their way to help us. Motorhome was fantastic and can't wait to do it again..

We hired the T5 as we’d always liked the look of them and what a fab camper van it turned out to be. We had the additional awning as we have 2 teenage boys and needed the room. The rock roll bed was quite comfy, I’ve certainly slept on worse in hotels. So all in all a great weekend
Clear instructions and the motorhome was well stocked with everything we needed to make the weekend a good one. Will use again.
From booking to dropping off the help and advice we received from David was first class. Would recommend his motorhome to anybody. Will definitely use David again for our next motorhome break.
Lovely, clean and well equipped motorhome. Steve was very helpful throughout as we'd never hired a motorhome before and he gave us a thorough handover upon collection. We will be booking the motorhome again for next year! Thanks for all your help Steve.

We hired this for Glastonbury, van was very comfortable. excellent handover at the beginning and end of hire. I would recommend hiring the awning for extra space. Many thanks to Carrie.

Just returned from a week at (the hottest ever) Glastonbury Festival...What a luxury to be in a camper van and not have to pack/unpack a tent in the heat. Dave was super lovely and the van had everything we needed for our stay - and more! Thanks so much. Wouldn't hesitate to use again :)
Met with the lady owner Terri before departure, super friendly girl who made us feel very welcome. Took lots of time to show us all the features of the campervan and explained everything we needed to know about the workings of the van, nothing was any trouble at all. Enjoyed a great weekend. Van was perfect and like new. Will definitely book again. 10/10
Had a fantastic trip down to Glastonbury, they offer a first class service, with a fully equipped campervan that was spotlessly clean. They even provide games to keep the kids entertained. All we needed to pack was clothing and food. I would most definitely recommend them and will be hiring a campervan from them again.

Communication was 5*, Motorhome was 5*, all that is needed was clothes wash stuff and food, its got all the thing you would need. had an amazing time, enjoyed every minute. This comes highly recommended. Thank you Paul
