We booked Lula to go to the Greenbelt Festival and she was absolutely perfect - exactly as described and her owner was extremely helpful prior to departure.
The campervan was very roomy plenty of storage great to drive definitely rent again next summer
We had an amazing holiday in one of Colins motorhome. Collection couldn’t have been simpler, just a short taxi ride from the airport. Within 20 mins we had the van to ourselves and we were soon on the open road! The holiday was fantastic, loads to see and incredible views. We have a 4yr old and an 8 month old. The 4yr old slept on the top bunk secure behind the bed guard, and the baby slept with my wife on the double bed, similarly clipped in. There was plenty of space in the van for all our needs and we had no issues driving on any road in the highlands. The van had enough water and power for 2 days without a campsite- as long as showers etc are kept to a minimum. The water was really hot though, and the the whole system could not have been easier to use. We will definitely be back- motorhome is absolutely the best way to see the Highlands!
We booked the Swift motorhome for a 4 day break. Upon arriving for collection, we were shown around the Motorhome and shown all the features and instructions for the hire. Following this we questioned multiple times what condition the motorhome must be brought back in (in terms of any mud on the outside and if it needs to be immaculate inside) because we were cautious of the £1000 excess we had paid prior to the collection. Gary said that they fully understand that the motorhomes are used for camping and reiterated that they are used to their motorhomes being used for festivals, so we shouldn't worry about be overly careful on minor dirt on the floor or mud splashes on the outside. Even going as far as using Horse manure as an example of something that would not be fine, which is more that understandable. On the return we spent 45 minutes tidying the motorhome, cleaning the kitchenette, wiped the floor area, cleaned the toilet/shower tray, and everything that needed to be in order to meet the description of how the motorhome should be when explained to us on the collection. The only imperfect areas of the motorhome were: small amount of grass in cab area and small amount of shoe dirt near the step inside. Take note that customers don't come on holiday with a mop and brush handy so we had to clean the floor with a bag of cleaning wipes. We arrived for the drop off and were greeted by a couple who were suppodsely their business partners. They spent half an hour checking over all areas of the motorhome. They asked if we are happy for them to do it and let us go, but I insisted that I wanted to stay and sign the drop off form to confirm there were no damages. You always hear about car rental horror stories so there was no way we would leave until we had the motorhome checked and signed off. During this whole time we were waiting, absolutely no issues were raised in regards to the cleanliness of the motorhome, any damages, faults, etc. They did not say a word. We informed them that 2 knifes were missing, and that we would ofcourse pay for them. The drop off checklist was signed by myself to finalise that there were no damages or penalties. Upon returning home, I recieved an email from Karen and Gary advising me the following penalties. £100 cleaning fee, £16 bread knife, £12 veg knife, £2 sciccors, £20 umbrella, £12 travel to supermarket to get knives. Total £162. The £50 for the knives and umbrella, not a problem. The £100 cleaning fee, outrageous. After all we had done to ensure the motorhome was brought back as expected and it being checked over on return, they impose a £100 cleaning fee on their customers. This is an outright scam and we were not going to tollerate it. We responded advising that we are not prepared to pay the £100 cleaning fee. I got an aggressive call off Gary, backtracking on everything he had said at the collection. Denying that he made any comments about the cleanliness of the motorhome and claiming I am putting words in his mouth. When we collected the motorhome Gary stank of alcohol and was drunk so it probably makes sense that he has forgottten everything he told us. Very unprofessional. He has told us that we are completely in the wrong and there is nothing we can do about it, going as far as telling me to come to his house if there is a problem. As per their terms and conditions, it states the £100 fee is appliable if they deem 'extra cleaning' is required. If 'extra' cleaning was required of there were any problems with the cleanliness, why didn't they raise it at the drop off? We would have happily stayed however long neccesary to remove any 'extra' dirt from the motorhome to ensure there was no penalty. As of today we are £162 out of pocket and have no way of recovering the maliciously taken cleaning fee. This company is clearly operating a shady motorhome rental business which profits from taking depsoits off customers for dirt and problems that never existed. I would strongly advise you to stay away from this company and go somewhere else. Gary and Karen are the last people you want to consider hiring a motorhome from. Unprofessional, lying, malicious people. We are not the only customers this has happened to.
This review rating has nothing to do with the Swift or us as a company. The hirer objected to our £100 cleaning fee which we reminded to them of on collection and they signed to acknowledge.
Thanks you for a great little bit of luxury whilst at a festival. Would be coming back for the next one. Fully recommended.
We hired the 746 Rollerteam and have to say this was one of the better vans we have hired! We were given a thorough explanation of how everything worked before we left and we had no issues at all. We would definitely use them again.
Due to an admin error at my end we had booked two camper vans so had to try and cancel this one. By their T&C's I was too lae for a refund but Kristen kindly offered me any moeny back that he could get from anyone else tht booked th van between the dates I had booked it for. I spoke to Kristen and he told me tat he had had it booked by soemone else for four days and said he would refundthat amount, which I was very greatfull for. After sveral textxs, emails and phone calls with left messages on his answerphone he has not reposnded to any of my efforts to make contact and is blocking me. Although the erro was mine I did book his van and paid in full and then he hired it out in my rental periokd and kept that money as well. All I can say is that he did not do as he offered and I think that was a bit dishonest and greedy. Jimi Oates
We recently hired the motorhome for a short break. The motorhome was spotless and well equipped It was a pleasure dealing with Vicki and Antonio who couldn't have been more helpful. I would definitely recommend them
Myself and 2 friends rented one of these campers so we could attend Ard Rock 2018. It was a great event but this camper made the stay much more simpler. I was shown around the camper on the day of collection and told of everything I needed to know. Everything was as described and we had no issues or concerns all weekend. I would highly recommend using them again in the future. Thank you!
Perfect Holidays. The welcome of Suzie was extraordinary, the motorhome was in excellent condition. Callander is an excellent starting point for visiting the Highlands. It's easy enough to join Callander from Edinburg I highly recommend. Just a tip: We did not have this motorhome because it had been crashed just before, but another equivalent.
Thanks Arnaud & family, it was a pleasure meeting you all. Take care, 'till next time! Suzie
Van was great and met expectations. only problem was that the van had done over 200,000 miles and we broke down on the way home.
Very comfy vehicle, well laid out and super easy and responsive drive. Good customer service and communication. Would happily hire from them again.
Wow what a great motor home. Paul was very welcoming and informative telling us how to use his motor home to its best potential. He fitted in with our plans to collect and drop of with ease. The motor home was very well looked after with everything we needed onboard for a great trip. Would not hesitate to book again and will be recommending this to friends.
We picked up the Camper a day early (at no extra cost) and had a trouble free time touring Wales for a week.
Found the mobile home more than sufficient for the five of us, great to drive and plenty of space to relax during our trip. Thanks to Carl for helping us get ready for the trip, the whole experience of booking was quite enjoyable
