Van was great and handover guys lovely but the admin/finance behind the scenes has left a very sour taste to the whole holiday. Overcharged at the beginning and had to chase deposits repeatedly, finally got it back but no explanation of what has been deducted. Put us off doing it again. It's all about their bottom line and hoping people won't notice their bank balance!
My wife & I had a lovely break touring down the Welsh coast, in a Campervan called Eleanor. Everything went smoothly, the camper van was easy to drive and not too big for fitting nicely into pay&display car parks - a consideration many people forget! Like the idea of just moving on to the next place every morning - so easy to just pack-up and be back on the road. A nice experience - recommended.

Our vehicle was very clean and nicely appointed.For future guests information there is no cooling air con just heating which was very useful at night.The bed is on the small size and for extra comfort we used a doona under the bottom sheet.
This was first time in a motorhome, loved the experience and would hire through leisurerentals again. Super motorhome, took us 2 days to find the table and realise front seat turned round but only minor things.
Really enjoyed using the motorhome and will definitely look to use again. First time ever in a motorhome and suspect we may have been spoiled by the quality of this one!
Excellent campervan hired as 'support vehicle' when I cycled Lands End to John o Groats this year. Really comfortable, easy and pleasant to drive, easy to set up and good fuel economy. As for service, I can't speak highly enough: Stacy was really helpful allowing us to view vehicle beforehand, ensured that we were properly briefed and helpful when we returned with deposit returned to us very quickly. A great experience, that worked really well for my LEJOG, and no hesitation in recommending: will probably hire again idc, and def from Dawson Rentals if I do so.
Hi, I thought the van was great and drive like a car and was very comfortable to stay in for the weekend. When I got to where I needed to I found that the gas ran out within 2 minutes so luckily the festival I was at had replacement bottles but still cost me £25 to replace. I also replaced the fuse for the leisure battery indicator. There was a kettle on the van that fell apart as soon as I picked up the handle so purchased a new one. The panel behind the drivers seat has started to delaminate and the webbing strap to hold the roof down on the passenger side has seen some wear and I did try to tidy it up. Driving home I felt a couple of misfires but this just maybe down to rubbish in the fuel. It was a great trip don't get me wrong and a great van and would love to hire it again at the right price. We had a super week in our motor home. The team were friendly and full of good advice about where to go and how the motor home worked. We headed through Glencoe and then up to Skye for a few days, before returning via the Black Isle. The weather was great and the scenery was stunning. Mr and Mrs Walker

This trip was a first for us. With the help and advise from the team our trip ran smoothly. The camper van we had was just perfect for our needs and very economical. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Already a campervan convert I hired this van based purely on a convienient pick up location and the well known features/reliability of VW. Adrian and the team were very efficient and provided a great service. The Motorhome was just what we needed and well equipped.
Everything went so smoothly, from requesting a quote, to collecting the motorhome, to dropping it back and getting a lift to the airport. The owner is absolutely lovely, and went way beyond what was expected (little things like hot water bottles, tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk, flask of hot water and shortbread, which were very much appreciated!). The motorhome was everything we needed for a few days travelling around the area, and was very comfortable and spacious for the five of us. I'd recommend to everyone - we absolutely loved our travels around Scotland! Thank you!
A lovely clean motorhome provided by a very friendly and efficient family. It was clear females had an influence on the fitting out with regard to the kitchen area. Plenty of utensils and cleaning equipment. Would definitely use it again.
A really easy process and Alan is a lovely man to deal with. The vehicle was amazing with lots of space and easy to drive. I would certain recommend this to others and we will certainly be booking again.
Highly recommended for a family holiday, the vehicle was very clean and modern with all the facilities you would expect from a quality motor home, everything was provided, gas, crockery, mains lead, generator etc, The vehicle was very clean and the owner was very helpful and provided a full demonstration of all you will need to know about the van.
