The car was the perfect thing to go for holiday into the highlands and for island hopping...with the fully need equipment (all inclusive) it was the perfect holiday on places where the next people are fare away. Thanks again
What a fantastic holiday my wife, me and our 2 dogs had, we did NorthRoute500 everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. Flora and Steve were great handling our hire arrangements and the whole experience was fabulous. We will be back as regular customers many thanks Davie and Carol
We hired Martha for 2 weeks. The vehicle was immaculately presented and Charlotte explained how everything worked. Her attention to detail was second to none. The on-line booking procedure is straight forward and very comprehensive. Martha is spacious with all mod-cons and easy to drive once you get used to the added width and length. We toured the Isle of Skye and down the west coast of Scotland generally doing 2 nights wild camping and 1 night on a camp site to service the vehicle which is very easy. Highly recommended and will definitely consider using Go Cumbria again in the future.
Ewan put my mind at rest. This was the first time I'd driven anything so big and Ewan explained everything very well. The van was I good condition and we were off on the road well within an hour of arriving. We had no problems whatsoever, went up to Glecoe, Mallaig and Glen Nevis. Having decided to support our husbands on their 2000 mile road trip upto the top of the uk and then down to the bottom, a motor home made perfect sense. Having made that decision, the next one was to trawl the Internet for a luxury motor home capable of delivering the luxury we were used to over the course of a week. Lots to choose from, similar in price for the spec we required now to find one local. We decided upon the escape. According to the description. We were to collect the day before we travelled. Payment up front along with a £1000 deposit. We arrived eager to jump into luxury at its best to find a very poorly maintained 5 year old motor home covered in dents, scratches and accidental damage badly repaired by the owner. Not what we had been led to believe by the advert. The inside was as bad. Poorly maintained, the toilet required the use of the shower to flush it, the cabin area had not been cleaned, the carpets simply brushed and in need of a vac, the pull out bed damaged and simply mended with advice by the owner to be careful. The whole thing needed a good clean. Disappointed hugely we had no option to to take the thing, had we more time we would have walked away. I find it incredible that the state of this vehicle could be described as luxury. Not worth the money we paid for it and would advise anyone considering this to view first. To end on a good note..... It got us there and back.
Suzie was a great help during the booking and when we arrived to pick up the motor home. It was clean and tidy and we were very happy with it. It was the first time I'd driven a motor home, I was a bit concerned beforehand but Ewan assured me it would be ok and I had no problems. It handled well, the engine was powerful and the turning circle allowed easy maneuvering. I would recommend Ewan and Suzie to anyone looking to hire a motorhome to tour Scotland.
What a great Campervan! This was our first time camping in a VW T5 (We usually use a trailer tent), and our friends in their old VW T25 van were very jealous indeed! The interior was brilliantly equipped with absolutely everything that you could need. Having hot water & central heating was just amazing as we had a cold snap on our weekend away. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Lou (and her hubby) when booking, collecting & dropping off the van too - they really couldn't have been more accommodating. We will absolutely be booking the van again very soon!
We had a wonderful experience hiring a motorhome for 4 days. Everything was clearly explained and the motorhome was in immaculate condition with all the mod cons we were hoping for. There was gas and/or electric heating and all were simple to operate. The vehicle was a very comfortable drive and we all enjoyed plenty of room with ample storage. Will be back again soon!
We took Archie on a long weekend exploring North Cornwall as a taster to see if we liked campervan living. We had long walks, fishnchips watching the sunset, star gazing before bed and cups of tea anytime we wanted - fab. The van is well equipped and fairly simple to get the routine of switching off gas and stowing stuff-that-might-fall before setting off. Setting up the bed was simple and although we had chosen a particularly stormy weekend to go away, we still had a great time. Yes, we certainly warmed to campervan living and thanks to Richard for the induction and hire of Archie. Tim&Susan
Met at Heathrow by Peter with the motorhome. Clean and very well presented with fresh linen. Peter then escorted us to the M25 and sent us on our holiday. At 35 mpg, the motorhome was very economical and drove like a car. Camped on beach fronts in cold conditions and the heating was very efficient. I have rented motorhomes around the globe and would rate Crawfords above all others because of the entire service... first class. Drop off at Heathrow airport was seamless. Thank you again for providing a perfect holiday package and we look forward to booking our next holiday with you shortly.

Got wonderful welcome and service, before the rental, on receiving of the motorhome, during and on return. The motorhome itself is well maintained and it was a pleasure to use it. One of the best rentals we had.
I'd been umming and arring about a weekend away in a camper and decided to just do it - me and my better half loved it, have to admit it rained quite a lot but didn't matter, especially when we turned up the heating - cracking time, aided by chilled wine on board - always a winner. Nicky & Pete, Wokingham. Had a great week touring Wales, the campervan was excellent it fitted through all the narrow and low bridges. The bed is very comfortable and the whole van was nice and snug, didn’t need to use the heating at all.
Not realizing it was bank holiday weekend and needing a campervan with very short notice, Kevin was very accommodating. His pick up and drop off times were very flexible, the hand over thorough, and a range of optional extras offered. The van itself was in great condition and met all of our needs for a short break. Highly recommended and will certainly use again.

There was plentyof storage and the van was well laid out, it was easy to drive and we managed an average of 35mpg. Lee's communication was great and he was very efficient, i would definitely recommend using him if you want to hire a motorhome.
We took Archie down to Cornwall for a long weekend and he was everything we wanted. He is hugely comfortable to travel in, and equally comfy for a sound night's sleep. Richard, his owner, has kitted Archie out very well indeed. We thought we had brought too much stuff at first, but there were all sorts of storage places we found. Cooking in Archie is great, lovely little stove, with a slightly temperamental fridge that still does the job. All in all, great value compared to the bigger commercial hire companies, and hiring from an individual gave us additional confidence too.

We hired this motorhome for the weekend at V Festival in Chelmsford, Alina and her husband were very helpful in showing us around and how everything worked, even with 6 of us sleeping in there was enough room for us all. Kristina was very efficient with all paperwork too, the deposit was transferred back into the account as promised with no problems, we would defiantly use them again Thanks guys ;o)
