Description

This is a fantastic family van with large full-sized bunk beds for the kids (with curtains around!) and a large pull-down double for the grown-ups. Everything about this van is well designed with comfort and convenience in mind - German design at its best! Generous in every way with plenty of storage, fully equipped and ready to go. All the usual things you'd expect from a van of this quality - tv, hot shower, fridge-freezer, 3-hob gas cooker, oven / grill, central heating, awning and garage. The L-shaped kitchen keeps it separate and means you are not in the way of each other. The lounge area is stylish (white leather upholstery!) and very comfortable AND you don't need to pack it all away when you and the kids go to bed. It drives amazingly well - very smooth and comfortable with easy steering and the gear-change is just like a car. Cruise control makes motorway driving easier too. The view from the huge window makes you feel part of the landscape around....
You will be reassured to hear that the van is fully insured with comprehensive self-drive hire insurance and full breakdown cover for the UK and Europe and full details of these are available on request. Before you confirm your booking, however, it is worth you being aware of some of the basic requirements of this hire: To be insured to drive, you need to be between 30 and 75 years old and have a minimum of 3 years driving experience. We need full details of your driver’s licence and a DVLA ‘Check Code’ (which you can get on the DVLA website) including any points, claims or convictions over the past 5 years. You may not be eligible to drive if you’ve had a single conviction of 6 points, more than 6 points in accumulation or been involved more than 1 fault claim in the last 3 years. During your hire, you are taking full responsibility of our motorhome and whilst the insurance should offer you some peace of mind (with a £500 excess), you must be comfortable with the fact that you will need to cover any uninsured costs associated with loss, damage, theft, fines or misuse of the motorhome or its contents. We also suggest you take out some travel insurance to cover the usual things like cancellations and personal possessions. Your hire fee automatically includes 500 miles per rental week so please also let us know your general itinerary and estimated mileage so we can pre-arranged a higher mileage package for longer journeys. Aside from these boring but necessary things, we genuinely want you to have a fabulous time in our motorhome, so please let us know in advance if there is anything further we can do to help ensure you have the best time possible.
