Owner Description
Here at The Freedom Campers, we have Lorna Marie, our luxury 2/3-birth Peugeot Boxer camper with all the mod cons for a superb away-from-home experience.She is more suited for couples but can be used for smaller families with three traveling seat belts and extra sleeping across the front seats with an airbed supplied.
Fitted with the Alde 3020 heating and hot water system and a full digital display, it operates at the touch of a button. This can be powered by 230 volts or Gas
With a full shower, toilet, basin, and heated towel rail, she is also suitable for wild camping trips.
She also has a full-size fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, grill, 3 gas burners, and 1 electric hob. The fridge is a 3-way device operating on 12 volts while driving and gas or electricity, depending on whether you are wild camping or sited at one of the many sites to choose from. The microwave operates at only 230 volts while hooked up on sites.
Lorna Marie is also fully kitted out with all cooking utensils, crockery, etc.
She also has a 200-watt solar panel on the roof to help keep the battery topped up, and when on electric hookup, the battery will be charged up with the onboard smart charger.
Lorna Marie has lighting fitted throughout to suit all moods, ranging from the bright LED's for cooking to the various colored cool LED's around the lounge/sleeping area with a full 6-foot-wide bed.
There is also a 24-inch 12v TV fitted in the lounge/sleeping area, 12v USB charging points, and 230v 3-pin sockets for use when hooked up.
You will find a small pull-out table in the dining area, and if you require a larger table, there is a large table tucked away in the wardrobe area, along with a table that can be attached outside at the rear with both rear doors open, or at the side door area, where there is also a full side awning that can be wound out for shelter.
Also tucked away inside are folding chairs to relax and enjoy the great outdoors.

The cab area also lives up to the luxury with a rear-view camera, a blue-tooth radio for hands-free mobile connections, and cruise control for relaxed driving.
Dog-friendly campervan, and we can supply blankets to be used. There may be additional costs for cleaning as expected, which can be discussed upon booking, and depending on the breed, please feel free to ask.
Hire Days are 7 days a week to suit you.
Insurance
All drivers must be aged between 23 and 75 with a full license held for at least 2 years.
We can accommodate older drivers, so please call and we can contact our insurance to see if we can accommodate you.
We can accept UK, EU, Australian, New Zealand, American, and many others, so please contact us to check with us in advance.
We also have full UK breakdown cover for your peace of mind.
Extra Drivers
We can cater for additional drivers for only £20 per driver.
Deposit
We require a £1000 security deposit however this can be reduced to £250 for only £15 per day waiver.
Required ID
We require two forms of ID for collection and a driver's license.
1. 2 utility bills, bank statements, etc. dated in the last 3 months.
2. A photo ID, e.g. a license or passport
3. Driving License
Collection
Upon collection of the vehicle, you will be given full instructions on the use of all equipment and any questions you may have.
We are available 24/7, with a mobile number supplied to you.
You can arrange for local taxi companies from all of these locations within easy reach of us.
1. Newcastle Airport, Approx. 50 minutes, 40 miles
2. North Shields ferry terminal Approx. 40 minutes, 30 miles
3. Durham train station Approx. 25 minutes, 15 miles
4. Hartlepool train station. Approx. 10 minutes, 5 miles
