Red Ron is ready for action. Designed for an off-grid, all-weather European expedition, he was built to be a true go-anywhere vehicle; with four wheel drive, all terrain tyres and even a locking rear differential for when the going gets really tough. He's been fitted with a 'no messing' retro-sleek look to match the tricky terrain he traverses without breaking a sweat. Red Ron was built for off-grid living. He doesn’t have 240v electric hook up, because he doesn't need one. His 2 large leisure batteries hold 220 amp hours of power, and charge both from the engine when running and the large & very efficient rooftop solar panel. It can charge the batteries during thick cloud and even charges the engine battery. In his interior, storage was top priority. The huge L shaped chest storage along with tons of smaller cupboards mean you can easily pack a few weeks worth of supplies before heading into the unknown. But the unknown takes it's toll, so Red Ron doesn't skimp on comfort. After a long day of adventures, melt into the memory foam mattress/cushions on the large corner sofa/double bed. Read by the light of multi-position LED spotlights or cook up some well-earned grub on the triple gas stove as you pop the top of a cool bottle from the 35L chest fridge. The elevating roof allows campers to stand up easily inside. It features a drop down floor which makes another double bed, and its canvas zips back, allowing you to sleep looking straight up at the stars or sit out and watch the sun set.
