Gareth was very flexible with timings of pick up and drop off, gave an excellent explanation of the van's features. The van is clean and had more facilities than we used. So impressed we are thinking of hiring again. Definitely recommend.
Very comfortable van for driving, runs on LPG so was VERY economical. Awning very easy to assemble even though it looked like a beast in disguise! The sleeping arrangements were fairly simple to execute, although once up access to the fridge is impossible, ditto when travelling a pit stop meant a lot of rearranging of equipment to free the milk. Good clear friendly instructions from the owner who has put a lot of thought into how best to provide an easy and comfortable rental. My only negative would be the need to provide a quite hefty deposit just in case. I think with credit cards these days there is an obvious workaround. I'm now left with a whole lot of British sterling at the end of a holiday that needs to be reconverted to my foreign bank. I would definitely recommend to travelling couples as a very easy option to get about.

We spent a magical week touring the north of Scotland in top-notch mobile accommodation. The motorhome drives very intuitively and has all the amenities we could have wanted. A smooth ride enabled us to relax and take in the views while driving, and there was ample space and facilities to enjoy the evenings and mornings. As such it provided ultimate flexibility on our journey without compromising any comfort. Calum was extremely friendly and organised, made the booking and handover processes simple as could be and was happy to answer all questions related to the motorhome and route. Of course the sublime weather also added to our experience but Fasgadh Motorhomes ensured our week in the north of Scotland was a very special one...we might just return next year!
We paid extra to be met at Manchester airport with a two birth "Luxury" motorhome to find a message when we landed from the "Operations Manager" that he would not be meeting us as the vehicle had broken down on route! We were then advised to find our own way to our initial destination by train. This seriously affected our plans for our touring holiday from the get go and having reached our initial destination we then had to wait around for a replacement vehicle. After several hours and phone calls to the 'Operations Manager' a replacement 6 birth vehicle met us and on entering the vehicle my wife broken down and cried at the state of the inside of this heap which had not been prepared and had all tree leaves inside the living cabin! The 'Operations Manager' then began to argue with my wife and threatened to drive off and give us our money back as he felt offended that we were not happy with this replacement vehicle! The attitude of this guy was awful and we were a little bit stranded so for three days we had this vehicle which meant that our plans for a touring holiday ended up being us stuck outside my parents house waiting for the 'Operations Manager' to arrange for the vehicle we rented to turn up. After three days it arrived and it was almost as per the brochure and 100% better than the replacement vehicle. We were promised compensation which has not happened (for our rail fares, loss of airport pick up and shear inconvenience ) and we have paid the full price of 1000+ pounds. I think potential renters should be wary of one man operators with bad attitudes who have limited logistics and resources as this in our situation turned out to be the case.
Lovely holiday home, Ron has everything covered for his guests even down to the added security of payment via Pay Pal. It was over forty years since we were last at Lossiemouth with our own children, this time it was with our grandkids and it brought back many happy memories. The site has entertainment for kids as well as adults and Ron had even supplied guest passes to access all facilities.
Booked a week - very helpful and friendly company. Motor home was well equipped and good condition. A minor problem occurred while we were travelling but was resolved quickly. On return handover was completed without any hassle. we toured the North Coast 500 route and experienced all kinds of weather- really good fun and a great way to see Scotland
We loved every second of our holiday. From the word go Darren was so friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to have all our stuff in one place and the freedom of stopping where we liked and planning our route to suit the holiday we designed was exciting. The van was comfortable and warm and Darren was on hand to answer questions when we got stuck. All in all a treasure trove of family memories. We'll be back
Van was lovely and clean ,everything u needed on board,free to go anywhere and wake up to amazing views, David was great showed us everything and always at the end off phone if needed , it was like first class hotel on wheels .
I can't recommend Campers Hire enough. I had excellent communication and service from Christophe with all the information I could ever need from the outset. He was very helpful, and went through every small detail of the rental before I left his property. We had a full tour of the van with explanations of anything I wasn't sure of. Everything went smoothly, I was given all the relevant paperwork and contact details should I require them and left feeling secure and completely covered. I had a wonderful weekend away in an amazing van, like a home from home. I will be renting again from Christophe, and I don't think I'll consider anywhere else. Completely faultless from start to finish.

I work as a medical volunteer at Glastonbury, & after 2 years of interrupted sleep & mud invasion in a small pop up tent, I decided that I needed to go the VW route. Bright orange Suzie was everything I could've wished for; she was easy to drive (with lots of smiles from other drivers) & well equipped, with the generous awning providing a great living space. It was such a pleasure dealing with owner John, who went out of his way to help me, giving full instructions re driving & use. I was able to leave my car in a secure lock up building when I collected the van, which made things simpler. I would thoroughly recommend Suzie to anyone else who's thinking of a VW experience! We had a great time with this great campervan early in June this year. Scotland showed it's true character by treating us to 4 seasons on one day sometimes. Calum and Margaret had us very well prepared to travel safely and very comfortable . We were with three people so we had lot's of space. One again Calum and Margaret Thank you!!!! First introduction to touring in a motorhome and it couldn't have been any better. Was able to book just 2 nights (other places wouldn't) for a weekend tester. Not only was pick up easy and well managed, I was thoroughly shown the ropes on how everything worked and even got the chance to drive it under the guidance of the owner. Did wonders for my confidence as a complete novice and took all the worry away. Really well equipped motorhome and very easy to drive. Lucy and Steven couldn't of been nicer or more helpful and I can't wait to book it again! Thank you :-)
Richard was a great comfort and explained everything in detail to make our experience successful. We grew quite attached to the Motor Home and fully recommend using this service as it is a very flexible way of travelling and staying in reasonable luxury. Thanks Richard for a wonderful time.
Drove to the Download Festival from Brighton. Van was extremely clean and tidy throughout and a pleasure to drive. Totally enjoyed the campervan experience and cannot ever see me going back to canvas. Gareth supplied a table and an extra chair, which added to the weekend .Somewhere to sit under awning and have brekky before 3 full days of metal and alcohol

As a first time motorhome camper, Amber Leisure staff took the time to show me the ropes and provided me with a user manual. The vehicle i was given was new, clean, fully fueled and kitted with fresh towels, bed linen, dishes and cutlery. I am already planning my next motorhome holiday...
