Booked a week - very helpful and friendly company. Motor home was well equipped and good condition. A minor problem occurred while we were travelling but was resolved quickly. On return handover was completed without any hassle. we toured the North Coast 500 route and experienced all kinds of weather- really good fun and a great way to see Scotland
We loved every second of our holiday. From the word go Darren was so friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to have all our stuff in one place and the freedom of stopping where we liked and planning our route to suit the holiday we designed was exciting. The van was comfortable and warm and Darren was on hand to answer questions when we got stuck. All in all a treasure trove of family memories. We'll be back
Van was lovely and clean ,everything u needed on board,free to go anywhere and wake up to amazing views, David was great showed us everything and always at the end off phone if needed , it was like first class hotel on wheels .
I can't recommend Campers Hire enough. I had excellent communication and service from Christophe with all the information I could ever need from the outset. He was very helpful, and went through every small detail of the rental before I left his property. We had a full tour of the van with explanations of anything I wasn't sure of. Everything went smoothly, I was given all the relevant paperwork and contact details should I require them and left feeling secure and completely covered. I had a wonderful weekend away in an amazing van, like a home from home. I will be renting again from Christophe, and I don't think I'll consider anywhere else. Completely faultless from start to finish.

I work as a medical volunteer at Glastonbury, & after 2 years of interrupted sleep & mud invasion in a small pop up tent, I decided that I needed to go the VW route. Bright orange Suzie was everything I could've wished for; she was easy to drive (with lots of smiles from other drivers) & well equipped, with the generous awning providing a great living space. It was such a pleasure dealing with owner John, who went out of his way to help me, giving full instructions re driving & use. I was able to leave my car in a secure lock up building when I collected the van, which made things simpler. I would thoroughly recommend Suzie to anyone else who's thinking of a VW experience! We had a great time with this great campervan early in June this year. Scotland showed it's true character by treating us to 4 seasons on one day sometimes. Calum and Margaret had us very well prepared to travel safely and very comfortable . We were with three people so we had lot's of space. One again Calum and Margaret Thank you!!!! First introduction to touring in a motorhome and it couldn't have been any better. Was able to book just 2 nights (other places wouldn't) for a weekend tester. Not only was pick up easy and well managed, I was thoroughly shown the ropes on how everything worked and even got the chance to drive it under the guidance of the owner. Did wonders for my confidence as a complete novice and took all the worry away. Really well equipped motorhome and very easy to drive. Lucy and Steven couldn't of been nicer or more helpful and I can't wait to book it again! Thank you :-)
Richard was a great comfort and explained everything in detail to make our experience successful. We grew quite attached to the Motor Home and fully recommend using this service as it is a very flexible way of travelling and staying in reasonable luxury. Thanks Richard for a wonderful time.
Drove to the Download Festival from Brighton. Van was extremely clean and tidy throughout and a pleasure to drive. Totally enjoyed the campervan experience and cannot ever see me going back to canvas. Gareth supplied a table and an extra chair, which added to the weekend .Somewhere to sit under awning and have brekky before 3 full days of metal and alcohol

As a first time motorhome camper, Amber Leisure staff took the time to show me the ropes and provided me with a user manual. The vehicle i was given was new, clean, fully fueled and kitted with fresh towels, bed linen, dishes and cutlery. I am already planning my next motorhome holiday...
Our daughter decided to have her wedding on a campsite in Dorset, and we booked Merv's wonderful RV for the first week of June, to accommodate a motley band of family in tremendous comfort - no tents or damp beds for us!! Comfortable, spacious, both air-con and heating (to cope with our British weather), very well equipped with kitchenalia and considerately supplied with all the stuff you need but have usually forgotten - dishtowels, salt, gas lighters etc. His description probably undersells the level of comfort, and he himself could not have been been more helpful or considerate, communication excellent. Tattershall lakes has been recommended by quite a few friends, so decided to give it a try. The caravan was clean and comfy, with the added bonus of a fully equipped kitchen, so need need to pack food bags, kitchen roll wash liquid etc. Beds all nicely made up for our arrival, so yes the caravan was nice. The park HAS issues, which apparently isn't new. We booked a family meal for 9 of us, we were told it would be 45 mins, even though the restaurant was empty, we thought that reasonable and sat down to enjoy a pre meal drink. After a full hour of waiting our meals arrived stone cold, honestly stone cold. This was worked out with the manager eventually, but I went home and had toast! Yes toast on my 1st family holiday with my poorly dad. So clearly something is going wrong, as this was then not the only time the restaurant has failed, do come on Tattersall you lost 5 days worth of food orders from a family of 9! Also we arrived Mon around 4 pm, so went to book activities on Tuesday for my 3 kids for the rest of the stay, only to be told everything was booked. Everything right across the activities, during the school hols is truly shocking, so many more parents wanted to book too. You had too little on, and not thought ahead for all the children during the holidays. At £8+ per child per activity we were again prepared to spend a small fortune keeping the kids entertained, another big loss for your park, surely something/ someone isn't? planning properly. This is costing you money! The park was beautiful, but we won't come back, with such issues.
Gary made all the comms/logistics really easy, he was very helpful. The van was great and easy to drive (my first time with a camper van!) Everything worked really well and I didn't even use a hook-up for our 3 night stay :) Will definitely rent again.
I cannot recommend Linda & John's campervan high enough. We borrowed this van for a wedding and were the talk of the campsite, as soon as we pulled up a crowd gathered to have a nosey. The van was absolutely immaculate and so well equipped, we truly only needed to remember our bedding! Both Linda and John were an absolute pleasure to deal with, extremely knowledgeable and professional. We have no doubts we'll be returning customers as I think my husband now has 'the bug'. We had a fantastic long weekend away in the van hired from Fugu! Frank was great, very accommodating and helpful. The layout of the van was well thought through, and easy to operate. Filling up with LPG was an experience, but we got there in the end. We will definitely be looking to hire the van in the future for more adventures. Thanks so much Frank and Fugu!
