Had a lovely long weekend in Gary's motorhome visiting the Peak District. Home comfortable and has all the items you might need. Gary was great, communication before was prompt and was really helpful at handover with any queries. Had a great time Thanks Gary

We hired Melissa's vehicle to travel with our Dogs through France to Meribel for Christmas on the Slopes. The vehicle provided was clean, spacious and well maintained. The information provided by Melissa on the operations of the vehicle was first class . We would thoroughly recommend Melissa for the hire of a motorhome.
It was the first time we had a holiday in a motorhome. Steve was extremely patient and explained every aspect, which was very helpful and paved the way for a pain-free holiday and lots of fun touring Wales. The motorhome was very clean, with everything provided for. We had no issues and found it very comfortable for a family of four. In summary, I highly recommend renting from Steve
The campervan was great to drive, not too large for the narrow roads we travelled in Cornwall and Devon, and OK for City streets and parking spaces. However to give honest feedback there are some issues. Re the advetrised listing. 1) There is NOT A/C in the cab. 2) There are not flyscreens on all windows. 3) The large fridge freezer is not suitable for off grid camping as it has not been correctly installed to include the gas mode of operating. A big drawback, as the battery power would only last for 20 minutes. 4) The 240volt hot water system is not supplied to the kitchen sink, only the shower which we discovered was way too small for an average adult to use, so the shower unit is only useful as storage. Problems with the vehicle. 1) The water pump to the kitchen failed, and would only work very intermittently, and could not be accessed tor repair without removing the cabinetry and dismantling the tank. 2) The front brake pads had to be renewed after 3 weeks despite our requests and assurances the vehicle would be properly serviced before our 4 week rental. Now a real issue and a warning to others. Our insurance bond deposit of 1000 pounds. We returned the vehicle 11am. on 17 October. The owner was not there, we spoke to someone else at the address, the vehicle was cleaned inside and out, undamaged, and the Diesel tank was full. There were no outstanding costs such as traffic or parking infringements. We requested out deposit returned to us and were told Michael would be doing it. We returned to our country on 19 Oct. We made many requests via email and text, for the money to be returned to our bank account and were met with excuse after excuse, and it was someone else's fault etc etc etc. I could not help but think the money had been used for other purposes. So I looked into legal action which was an option, and advised both the owner Michael, and Leisure Vehicles Direct that I would not hesitate to take action against both. Finally, after 29 days we received the refund. I can only recommend the insurance deposit be handled by an independent third party, who can act in good faith in the event of an issue. This is not how I envisioned our time in the UK would finish, and completely unnecessary.
Unfortunately there are lots of inaccuracies here. We did have issues with our bank and were apologetic of that, and unfortunately this has led to a cascade of negative feedback which is undeserved given the flexibility we provided to the hiree.
We did the NC500 and needed a compact but premarital van. Stuart’s VW was the perfect solution. The service prior to collection was amazing and Stuart was very flexible with collection/drop off times. Providing documents for insurance was easy. Stuart made a real effect upon collection to show how everything worked and even stocked the fridge with water and breakfast! The van itself was perfect and everything was in great condition and good working order. We had a fantastic time away and would highly recommend Stuart and his camper for your holiday.
What can say just brilliant jacks Campervan , collection so easy and everything explained Van was everything was spot on .so if you are thinking of hiring Campervan go to this man
Definitely recommend! We had an amazing few days away. Motor home was everything we hoped for and more. The friendly and helpful owners made everything so easy. Can’t wait to book again.
We were extremely impressed with every aspect of the camper rental. We struggled to find a camper which allowed us to bring our dog along so we’re so happy to have found this rental. Stuart couldn’t do enough to help us with any queries we had and his main priority was that we enjoyed our time with the camper. He was extremely thorough when showing us how everything worked and he even stocked the fridge for us! The van was fully equipped with everything we needed (coffee, tea, sauces, spices) including cooking utensils, chairs and a spare table. The process was smooth and Stuart was very flexible with timings. I couldn’t recommend enough and will definitely use again!
Clean and tidy start , all things explained well . Had fantastic break in the West Country with no problems at all, everything reliable , bed comfortable. Will be back for another trip later .
Pick up and drop-off nice an easy; good handover from Jacqui with all the info you need. Van was super-clean and modern, and a pleasure to drive. Recommended.
I had a wonderful trip ! My first solo campervan adventure and loved it .Jenny and Tim were very approachable and replied to any emails in a timely manner.The van had all I needed ! I had to contact her whilst away with a query and answered promptly, which reassured me. I will definitely recommend Carlisle Campers

What a fabulous experience 😍 I was thinking of buying a camper but chose to try before I buy. Elliot drove like a dream never missed a beat. Got to admit I kind of fell in love with him. He's high spec and has everything you may need. The whole experience from start to finish was plain sailing. The booking process was simple and the communication from Gemma and her partner was great. They gave me a full briefing on Elliott before I set off and even checked on me halfway through the week. I'd highly recommend 👌 Thank you 🥰
Hired a camper for 10 days/nights to do the NC500, all communication before, during & after our hire period was answered and dealt with quickly. Would definitely recommend and hire again from Dan in the future. Dennis & Jane
We hired the motorhome and it was very clean and tidy. The facilities were as described and comfortable. We luckily checked the crockery and cutlery situation before we left the site as there was nothing present. However, this was quickly rectified so no problem. We would certainly hire from Stephen again.

From the start of booking Jamie was helpful and responsive to questions. Motorhome was as expected apart from one thing that Jamie made us aware of and did not impact the rental in anyway. The motorhome was reliable and well equipped. Flexible on collection return times which helped with our planned holiday.
What an amazing 1st time motorhome hire it was. They were very helpful when we went to pick up the motorhome, to even helping me on our second day as there is a lot to remember on the hand over. They said don’t hesitate to call if you have any troubles. The motorhome was immaculate & a stunning design inside & out. The rear garage was our main concern for hiring as we was motorcross racing but Suzanne & Kevin wasn’t put off by this where as other companies were. Already planning our next trip & will definitely use them again. Amazing company amazing people.
