The Black Douglas is brand new to the Wild Campers fleet for the 2017 season. His stable name is The Black Douglas but on a day to day basis he goes by Dougie. Dougie was converted in 2016 and is based on a 2015 VW T5 Highline. He is powered by a 102HP diesel engine and has a five speed manual gearbox. He boasts air conditioning, electric windows, mirrors, parking sensors, cruise control and 18? alloys riding on lowered suspension. Inside Dougie has an impressive six travelling seats. He can sleep two downstairs in the extra wide Reimo Varotech 333 seat and two upstairs in the extra high HiLo pop top. The Variotech is one of the very best seats on the market and can slide back and forward to adjust carrying space. The HiLo is definitely the highest pop top on the market – loads of head room up there – and this one offers the scenic option which means the canvas can be zipped right back to open the whole roof up to the elements.Usage
